I also like the idea of Bojan coming back however I fear the reality of a return would probably be a massive disappointment all round. Yeah, that is the worry. However, I think it would be worth a shot. Once Lambert goes (fingers and toes crossed) I also think Ireland can take a good creative role. Definitely agree about Ireland, his contract is up so a pay as you play deal may suit both parties.

PL " oh Lord what can I say to make them love me, I know let's tug on those strings of nostalgia with bojan and huth"
PC " you've listened to what the fans want Paul", 5 year deal ok ??

Bojan under Hughes mostly weak. Did you stop watching Stoke when he returned from his injury? Not at all. I was there when he destroyed Man City after his injury. Were you? There were several players on top of their game that day and collectively they destroyed them. I said he was 'mostly' weak!

Yeah, Ireland is one of those hot and cold players, when he is switched on, he is great creatively and he knows where the back of the net is. On the basis that he can also go off the boil and going missing, a pay as you play contract would be ideal. For me one of Lambert's many mistakes was not playing Ireland after his performance at Man U. He looked like he was about to hit a run of form, but it seems old axes were still grinding.
