Lambert met Bojan for the first time earlier this week after the Spaniard flew in from his season-long loan at Spanish outfit Alaves. And Lambert spoke fondly of Huth after it was announced this week that the 33 year-old former Stoke favourite would be leaving Leicester at the end of the season. Lambert, whose own future will become clearer after tomorrow’s curtain closer at Swansea (3pm), spoke fondly of his first meeting with fans’ favourite Bojan." "Huth, another cult hero after 187 games for Stoke City between 2009 and 2015, went on to win the Premier League with Leicester but injury has prevented him playing a single first-team game this term. “Nobody here can speak highly enough of him,” said Lambert. “I don’t know him, but what he did, the brilliant things at Leicester, it’s the mentality. That’s vital, to want to work, work and work."

'Lambert met Bojan for the first time earlier this week after the Spaniard flew in from his season-long loan at Spanish outfit Alaves.'
Really?
He never met him in January when he was appointed manager? A player who has a more than decent goal return for Stoke and is still the best finisher we have at the club? Lambert has since moaned about the lack of a decent striker at the club yet he met Bojan for the first time this week. Words really do fail me.

More than happy to have Huth back on a 1 year contract. He is one of the characters we missed, and we need personality and spirit just as much as technical ability this next couple of years

I'd only want Huth back if he can make a meaningful contribution on the pitch. Great characters are fine, but if he's unlikely to be fit for more than a third of the season, I'd rather we keep clear - unless he's being considered for a coaching role.

I get the feeling Lambert is "doing " the PR that he feels will get him the job. I really hope we don't win on Sunday and give the board the excuse they need to keep him.

Huthy and / or Bodger will (or won't, depending on your point of view) work just fine (or not) without you Mr Lambert thanks very much.
Trying to ingratiate yourself by somehow allying them to 'your' camp and your future here so blatantly just doesn't wash with me.
You clearly are not going to walk come 5:00pm tomorrow (more is the pity) so let's hope PC & co have the good sense to hear you out, peruse your dossier and then trigger the break clause.
You know, the one you haven't got.
You're stinking the place out now and, as Ryan says elsewhere, we had better get a wriggle on. There's a lot to do.

Lambert despite his record, deserves a full season for me. See how that goes if we aren't top 6 then maybe get rid.
He knows the club really well and can win back some fans by bringing back old time favorites like Huth and Bojan IMO.
I'm fully behind him, you'll struggle to get anyone better in terms of the knowledge of the group

Was just about to mention that. He was a massive part of the best football I've seen us play over that spell, then Hughes lost the plot and the rest is history.

Presumably Bojans come back, see what the fucks happened since he left, said something along the lines of "you need me to help you? I'm in!"
This time next year, Bojans tore the Championship a new one. We go up as Champions and we have a squad ready to strike fear into our Premier Leagueopponents again.
(I've had a few beers. Sorry)

Bojan is coming home!!! Get the liberty stadium rocking with this chant to show that we want him to stay as lambert has said he likes him but that could be to get the fans on side, but showing bojan that’s e want him to stay and help us get out of a very difficult league

Great little bit of PR by Lambert hoodwink the fans by pulling on there heart strings about a reunion of bojan and huth despite being a complete tactically inept manager whose on par with Chris kamara with his woeful record then there's the excuse of being dealt a "a bad hand" despite claiming the squad was more than good enough to stay up and that he knew the strengths and weaknesses of the squad when he arrived. He's not fooling me for a second I just hope PC and JC see through it too.
