It's not a football match, it's attack v defence.

Not sure I’d complain if stoke were the ones attacking

Bet Newcastle win this game!
That's why football is like no other sport, the best team often don't win because goals are such a rare commodity.

Salary cap or it’s like this forever more. (no prizes for guessing which option will be pursued)

Ridiculous from Newcastle to be fair, you can't "defend" it😋

Rafa could take them down with no more wins and they'd still want a statue built of him.

Besides, they’ve had the Aarons chance to make it 1-1.

Typical for us they played their best ever game. I think even pep said something like one of the best ever performances from one of his sides.

83% possession.
Sadly this is not that far removed from any big 6 v the rest game, home or away.
Absolutely tedious.
God knows what we can do to change it

God knows what we can do to change it I know someone above said they'd prefer to play like Newcastle and scrape a narrow defeat, rather than lose 7, but teams have to have a go at them. Daft as it sounds, and it's not often tonight, but everytime castle do attack, citeh's defence look like they could concede. You just have to try and bully then and give it a go.

I am proud of Stoke having a go at ManC and scoring 2 goals, unlike some other fans apparently.

Well stop the likes of Man City and Man Utd spending the equivalent of a small nation’s defence budget on their defence would be a start.

Besides, they’ve had the Aarons chance to make it 1-1. A chance that came about only because the City defender slipped. They've barely made any attempt to get out of their own half yet if Man City were as ruthless as they have been it would be 5 -0. It's pathetic stuff from Benitez however you dress it up.

Pathetic engineered competition who wants to win a handicap, the Derby is a classic for a reason may the best horse win. No whinging about who cost what or one bloodline being too good for the others so being penalised just proper sport not there to make the losers feel better about themselves.

Bet Newcastle win this game! That's why football is like no other sport, the best team often don't win because goals are such a rare commodity. Not unique to football. We have a saying over here "on any given Sunday." Besides, the best team has 18 wins and a draw so far. I'd say the best team often wins and I'm willing to bet history shows that to be true.

This is an awful watch. I hate the big losses but accept that they are going to happen as the top 5/6 are so far away from the rest at the moment. It’s the games against teams around us I judge us on.
