2010 NHS satisfaction 70% 2024 NHS satisfaction 24% Our plan is working I wonder if the Welsh NHS is any better with it being Labour run? Who funds the Welsh NHS?

That good but it needs renationalising, in a world where: Dividends including to overseas owners / investors being prioritised over investment (to prevent sewage discharge and no new reservoirs since 1991). Chief Exec’s (sometimes appointed from OFWAT) are being paid grossly inflated salaries for incompetent performance. Well let them bloody well go bust then and we'll take it back into public ownership! www.google.co.uk/amp/story/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-68682198.ampThames Water's shareholders are refusing to give the struggling water giant extra cash unless bills rise. They were due to invest almost £4bn into the business over the next two years, but have withheld it saying its turnaround plan is "uninvestible". Shareholders want the regulator Ofwat to agree to a substantial increase in water bills for Thames' customers over the next five years. Fears emerged last year that Thames could collapse due to its huge debts. Thames Water said the funding plan drawn up last July was subject to various conditions being met including improvements for customers and the environment over the next three years. The owners' initial business plan asked for a 40% rise in bills over the next five years but it's thought that the shareholders may want to see even higher bill rises as a condition of injecting more money. The first tranche of the £3.75bn investment was due at the end of March, but has now been withheld. This sort of thing really fucks me off. They’ve made massive profits because they’ve neglected to do what they’re supposed to be doing, and now they’ve realised they’ve fucked up they’re planning to pass the cost onto us the absolute wankers. Absolutely let the fuckers go bust, water shouldn’t be privatised anyway.

Let me see. Because the private owners clearly aren't going to pay for it are they. Let's circle back to this in 12 months. We will see if private companies have fixed it and stopped taking dividends. Or if instead water bills increase by 40 odd percent and its tax payers who are paying to fix it while not seeing the profits. They've played a blinder these private owners. Do nothing for years and run up debts. And then people will no longer want to nationalise the services due to "why should the public pay". So then it stays in private ownership. So then water bills increase and thus the public pay for it and the private companies continue to take the profits. Thames water debts are around 14 billion but they've taken over 70 billion in dividends since privatisation. Taking it into public ownership is the long term solution. Getting 14 billion out of shareholders is a pipe dream which ain't gonna happen. Maybe a sale to new private owners will happen and the media will be telling us how great it is until 20 years later when we have the same convo once more. Pass a law reclaiming every penny of dividends for the last decade until the holes in the system are fixed. Regulate the fuck out of them. Ban bonuses and dividends until the system is fixed. Then, when the share price is low, bring them back into public ownership. To do so now would bankrupt the country further. Would it? If they go bust, then they can be taken back into public ownership for next to nothing and the cost to the tax payer will be the £4 billion required to put things right. If the company is fully functioning, having addressed all the issues, then there's no way the sale price will be anything near that figure. If we aggressively force them into selling, then there's a decent chance of spooking the markets, as the integrity of the British Government will then be called into question.

We can all sometimes say something bang out of order in the heat of the moment but the fact he's now had a while to think about what he wrote and not done anything about it, is an extremely poor look at best.

If you've got skeletons in the closet, public life probably isn't the best place for you. Either way, he's pond life and replacing Anderson with Gullis as deputy chairman tells you all you need to know about the Tories. Can't see them getting another vote from me in my lifetime.

Absolutely but then Tice and Gullis are of the same ilk, men in positions of power who believe it gives them the right to act or behave however they want to with relative impunity. Becoming an MP has certainly gone to Gullis' head. He's in for a large fall.

Unless what you 'know' compromises his ability to carry out his parliamentary responsibilities or is illegal - in which case let's hear it.

Think this is distasteful from Marina. She wouldn't attack the religious beliefs of Jewish or Muslim conservstive ministers on their holy days I bet.
It's stuff like this from "left wing" (if you presume starmer cheerleaders are left rather than centrist) commentators which fuel this left wing pro muslim/anti Christian rhetoric you see.
I also question how some of their actions align with their beliefs but I don't think Easter Sunday is the day for going on multiple tirades.
If the same was said on a holy day about a Muslim or Jewish MP you'd be called islamaphobic or antisemetic. Personally I don't think it is anti Christian, antisemetic or islamaphobic anyway. But I know others do see it otherwise.

Sunak's "Stop the boats" policy is very firmly on it's arse. 5,400 in the first three months up to yet. Had they tackled the people smugglers and opened immigration offices abroad then it would have achieved ten times what the Rwanda policy has/will do for the same price. Crazy politics by our glorious leader and the racists in his party who think sending a few hundred to Rwanda will stop those coming across.

But everyone should be ashamed of their ignorance because Easter is a Pagan festival anyway.

Mate I don't think that this is what she is doing at all.
She's not having a go at somebody's religious beliefs but rather, she's having a go at Tory politicians who weaponise Christianity, in an attempt to blatantly hijack the religion to further their political position. It's no different to Trump selling bibles, when actually, he couldn't give a flying fuck about the bible at all but he does so because he desperately needs the money from selling them, to pay his bond.
Jenrick is an evil man, who displays absolutely no Christian values whatsoever, Purkis is not having a go at his (apparent) beliefs but merely calling out the hypocrisy of the man himself.
