Is there no depths this shower of Charlatans won't stoop to cover up their incompetence Record NHS Waiting List of 7.6M understated by potentially Millions because when you are referred to a Specialist you go off the Waiting List. The fact you may wait years for treatment not an issue and against NHS Rules. www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/health-68171162.ampWe are truly living in a Parallel Universe

Just reading James O'Brien "How they broke Britain". It's staggering to see how effectively the NHS has been undermined. I didn't realise how much power the Tufton St mob exert over Westminster and what a pit of vipers the whole place is. We are heading for a US style health service based on the deluded ideas of a bunch of twats in London advising the Govt and dictating policy. Then being rewarded with positions in the HoL or heading yet another advisory board. We need to get these people out of Govt at the earliest opportunity and start the long slow march back to normalcy. It is going to be a very slow and demanding recovery and I am not so sure it will be successful, but, we have got to start somewhere.

I'm sure there are plenty of people on here, who are familiar to travelling by train in Europe.
Clean, on time, seats for everybody and at about half the price (or less) and yet we pay sky high ticket prices, to sit on the floor in dirty rolling stock and that's if the train turns up at all!
All the while, whilst the British tax payer bails out the Rail Companies, in order that the shareholders can maintain their dividends.
We are utter mugs, no wonder the European's are laughing at us.

But if GB News are in your town Sunak will get the RAF to fly him in to tell you that people don't want to use the railways.

Same old Tories, what else did you expect? At least I can say I have never voted for this pile of crap, and never would.

Trains in this country are beyond disgraceful. Even off peak times now are absolutely heaving. The quality of the experience is third world and that's putting it politely. The train companies should be ashamed of the shite they serve up. Shame on them.

With respect Mr Coke, I know you profess no allegiance to any Political Party and I endorse your link at how appalling the mostly Foreign outsourced Rail system is in this Country is costing £4K per minute No less a scandal than another later link where mostly Foreign Privatised Water Companies are polluting our Seas, Rivers and Streams And let's not exclude how we outsourced our Energy Resources under licence to Foreign Corporations rather than retained ownership like Norway at same time of discovery It was not Foreign incompetence that UK was unable to Plan and Manage a relatively routine HS2 which others have achieved decades before Until such time as we look in the mirror and accept collective failure, demand a level of competence and stop blaming others for our own failures we will be destined to repeat them

One of the biggest issues in modern day politics is that leaders are too weak to simply say that they screwed up but want a chance to make it right. Whether it be on HS2 or tying their shoelaces, all they do is deflect. It makes so many of them so distasteful to listen to.

If our law makers let us down we throw them out and give someone else a chance. I appreciate that could result in the country being run like Watford FC. There is an argument that they are all useless but that is not an argument to hand over government to a collection of bureaucrats and foreign law makers who are only interested in furthering the interests of their own countries at the UK's expense.

UK Law Makers had total decision making control over the sell off of the British Silver into Foreign Ownership. The EEC were entirely disinterested in UK Domestic decisions as you well know De-Nationalisation was an Idiotical Ideological Policy Decision by the Conservative Party drafted chiefly by Nicolas Ridley with the triple aims of curbing the power of the Unions in the aftermath of the Heath Government being brought down by the Coal Strikes. The Theory was that in Private Management they would be more efficient and finally the proceeds would reduce Public Borrowing Doh

Guess just like the Kemi/Post Office situation I should believe the government again? They've had a good record on integrity and honesty so far to be fair....

On breakfast news this morning that our hospitals are crumbling and in disrepair and this is effecting health sound familiar same old tories same underinvestment while they plan tax cuts to bribe you Don't be fooled get these parasites out Tax rises across the board are inevitable in my opinion if we want functioning services - purely due to an aging population. So it's either we import taxable workers (immigration) or everyone else needs to pay more. Nobody dares say it though so we'll trundle on in a state of managed decline soon to be continued by the incoming Labour government.
