I agree to some points you make especially about running of it but that was a political decision to introduce free markets to allow private firms in and set hospital against hospital it has seen a rise in administration and marketing that has seen these overtaking nurses and drs However per capita funding for the NHS has dramatically been cut at a time of higher costs This is why for years now I have said on here take out of political control recognise it nationalise purchasing scrap CEOs and a majority of bureaucrats stop marketing and bidding trust against trust stop lucrative contracts on agency staff where they can earn double for less work Go back to the old system of drs and nurses running the nhs |

I think there's certainly a conversation which could be had in relation to the authenticity of people's claims. In the sense that a straight person could claim they are at risk due to being gay. But I don't think Suella is actually after a conversation. Just chasing another headline to invoke some pointless culture war again. These tories really want us to fight amongst ourselves. Why don't they just do their fucking job instead. |

It's almost as if the amount spent on NHS is a Political Choice, who knew, and there's a correlation between waiting lists and Patient outcomes The biggest chunk of NHS spending is on salary costs, about £80Bn. A more cynical person than me might speculate that if you wanted to keep this figure down you would not fill vacancies (or give inflation meeting pay increases) currently 112,000 or about 10% of the workforce. The rough calculated amount saved would therefore be about £8Bn Coincidentally £8Bn is the latest reported overspend on the mismanaged HS2 which may take you from Birmingham to Wormwood Scrubs in a few years time. you've got to admit though that something has got to be done urgently look at southern europe and usa .
we can't afford / support the ones already here nevermind more . taxing the oil companies and increasing inheritance tax isn't going to solve it .
like suella says there are potentially 80 million people on the move across the globe .

It reminds me of brexit and Farage’s posters and leaflets which suggested the entire population of Turkey would be entering Britain if we voted remain. All lies of course.
