Bollocks, I’ve missed Talking Pints! Anyone else see it?😉 Yeah it was a good one. Nigel kicked himself in the bollocks for no reason, and in the end it turned out to be because of woke, lefty Antifa mobs. You couldn't make it up.

Braverman really is an extremely dangerous character. She now wants to overturn the recommendations of the Macpherson enquiry, following the tragic murder of Stephen Lawrence to 'save police time'. So now if somebody is racially abused (just verbally mind) in the street or online, then they will just have to take it on the chin and suck it up because the perpetrator will no longer be breaking the law. Be under no illusions this is a callous and brazen attempt to reduce the crime FIGURES in time for the next election, so they can claim they have reduced actual crime. The reality being of course, that they haven't reduced crime at all, just the crime figures. Indeed crime is actually likely to increase, as racist cowards will soon realise that there is no longer any comeback for them, when they spew their hate. Is this really the type of country we want to live in? www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/police-hate-incidents-racism-braverman-b2319012.htmlShe's a racist. People just don't mention it because she's brown.

Here's a hypothetical question for yous.
Next election somehow becomes a toin toss between Johnson leading the tories or Farage leading reform as PM. Who do you choose?
I think I'd go for Farage/Reform having experienced Johnsons Premiership.

I think they'd both be as shit as each other (in slightly different ways), but Farage hasn't had chance to prove it yet.

"Let us be clear about what is really going on here. The system is broken. Illegal migration is out of control, and too many people are more interested in playing political parlour games and covering up the truth than solving the problem.” The British people deserve to know which party is serious about stopping the invasion on our southern coast, and which party is not.” Suella Braverman in House of Commons 2023 "Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." Hermann Göring at his trial in Nuremberg 1946

He's stood for Parliament seven times since 1994 and been nowhere near winning a seat.

And you’d be bang on of course We've already had a taste of what that Libertarian nonsense would be like when Truss and Kwarteng decided to destroy the country's finances in 45 days, we don't need any more, thanks What did the nicotine-stained Frogman call it again? "The best Conservative budget since 1986". Both he and Johnson are admirably suited to careers in trash tv, let's hope they remain there, being ignored by 99% of the population. The Jeremy Clarksons of the political tv world, without any of the entertainment

You'd take another Boris Premiership and more tory rule I absolutely wouldn't but equally don't quite know how Farage is being painted as the lesser of two evils? In a hypothetical question where you are asked choose one option or the other, it's very difficult not to make one option the lesser of two evils. If someone asked me if I'd rather eat a shit sandwich or spunk on toast and I chose spunk on toast, it doesn't mean the next morning I'm clearing out the corn flakes to make way for jars and jars of fresh jizz.

Yeah I get that, the suggestion from some seems to be that the looney far-right bloke is the better option of the two though, that's the bit that isn't computing for me. Why is Farage the, er, spunk on toast of the situation?

I’m struggling to think of anyone in politics in the U.K. i’d have any trust in or find likeable. The last leader / PM I liked as a person was John Smith though I didn’t mind Major just he was a bit grey.
