It's sometimes difficult to determine if you are just stupid or ill informed On balance I come to the conclusion you are just indifferent to Tory Bad News/Behaviours and exist on a parallel universe The original IOPC enquiry into Boris/Jennifer were unable to find sufficient evidence of wrongdoing by Boris because unfortunately the emails had been deleted ! Never fear, recently Jennifer agreed to cooperate with a new enquiry (inexplicably IOPC failed to interview her first time round !) He'll hath and all that.... The enquiry is into Malfeasance in a Public Office, but of course you knew that The basis for the new enquiry is based on her contemporaneous diaries she kept during her four years as Boris's Lover. She has placed these Diaries in to the safekeeping of John Ware a fearsome investigative Journalist he takes no sides or prisoners when he sees corruption Look him up you'll be impressed The dilemma now for the IOPC it to weigh up which will do them least damage Whether to do another botched investigation knowing full well that Jennifer's Diaries will via John Ware end up in a book expose and very like a documentary making them look even bigger plonkers than they already are. www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/politics/2021/nov/20/fresh-prospect-of-criminal-inquiry-for-boris-johnson-after-jennifer-arcuri-agrees-to-assist-ethics-watchdogFella might I suggest its you that is stupid, every post I have made is about the supposed vanishing story of Boris / Carrie, never mentioned Acuri so I really have no idea why you suddenly decide to pretend she has been the subject of the discussion at any point. Now I'm a bit concerned for you Fella My very first post on this subject was about Jennifer and Carrie. So much so my description of them exorcised Patrick so much he quoted it which you subsequently approved of If this is just your usual denial of facts that have actually taken place fair enough its expected of you. If you feel however it's more sinister and potentially the early onset of a condition, I'd have it checked out if I were you.

Ha ... when I first replied to TC, I did suggest there might be a link between the two but edited it because it was just speculation on my part.

Where has this been reported please chap? You've just got to smile when Alastair Campbell makes a comment like "One of the most malign cultural and political forces of recent decades". The words pot, kettle, black spring to mind.

The MP for Stoke North has been displaying his Political acumen again Still its only Northern Ireland. No need to show restraint and knowledge of your brief in that department! Jonathan Gullis (Con) says that when he saw the deportation flight to Rwanda being halted he was so frustrated he said the UK should withdraw from the European convention of human rights. But he says he wants to say now that he was wrong. Having engaged with Dominic Raab, he now accepts that the principle set out in the bill of rights bill is a better way of dealing with the problem.
In fact, Gullis withdrew his call for the UK to leave the convention within about an hour of his making it on social media late at night on social media last time. Gullis reportedly had a rethink after recalling that the ECHR is an integral part of the Good Friday agreement, which the government supports. Gullis is parliamentary private secretary to the Northern Ireland secretary, Brandon Lewis, and presumably should have realised this in the first place.

I know I may be wrong about this, and would welcome your correction if I am, but isn't Dacre connected to the Daily Mail? And isn't the current story about the Times? I've not been following this particularly closely so might easily have the wrong end of the stick but I don't, at the moment, see the connection. (other than it was, apparently, the Daily Mail which originally ran the story a few months ago)

The times ran with it then pulled it.

They had to find someone less able than Brandon Lewis to be his PPS. As Suella Braverman was already part of the paid for vote, it had to be Dullis.

The words pot, kettle, black spring to mind. don't get me wrong, i think Campbell should be tried for his role in the lies and going to war in Iraq ... the man is a disgrace. But, he still moves in those circles so would be privy to the info before us mere mortals.

Mail went with the story too and then pulled it later on. Ah, got it. So, the DM ran the story a few months ago and then pulled it. Thanks for your help, and Huddy's. No, the Daily Mail serialised Lord Archers book a few months ago and didn't take it down. The Mail were then offered last Monday, a new/developed much more detailed story written by the highly respected political journalist Simon Walters but they turned it down. Then this weekend the Times went with the story and the Mail seeing that their rival had gone with it, published it too but later took it down.

I was getting confused with who ran what when and who pulled what when. I think we’re still waiting though for the Times to explain why they pulled the story. That would be interesting to hear. As to Johnson, everything about the story and the story of the story confirms what we all know… the man’s a fud.
