I may as well get in on all this man lovin. If it's any consolation mate I used to think you were a bit of a bellend , probably due to that Sheikhy/Crappy/Mattyd episode in which I'm sure we would have been on opposing sides. To be fair to Cobs he put in a good word for you via a PM and I'll happily admit that I wrong and too quick to judge. I do appreciate anyone that can take a bit of banter. Unlike that lefty woke snowflake, Gammon Gawa. 'Sharp wit'...ha ha that's a good one I am funny in a David Brent kind of way aren’t I?🤣 Fair enough, the common phrase on here “you wouldn’t know irony if it punched you in the face” springs to mind😉 Oh and you’ve got Gawa spot on, but for fucks sake don’t tell him👏🏻🤪🤫😉 I was thinking more like a 'having a serious case of genital warts' kind of way, but yeah.

What a thoroughly nasty piece of work Anderson is. Not only is he incredibly offensive, he is stupid and I mean proper stupid. He's so stupid that he doesn't even realise that he's stupid. His comments to the commissioner are a complete and utter disgrace. A perfect example of the Dunning Kruger effect in action is Lee Anderson. Whatever happens at the next general election, whoever forms the next government, it's to be hoped that people like him are nowhere near public 'service'. Let him retire on his fat MP pension, become chair of his local parish council if he still feels the need to be 'important' locally and disappear from general public consciousness until he inevitably reappears in the Jungle. Best outcome of all would be to piss off entirely to join the Costa Brava or Florida expat colonies where he would so readily fit in.

I enjoy quite a lot of the topics and posts on the football side of the board and in the whole it's all good natured. Sadly the same as in real life situations politics and religions causes division and tension. I can take a lot of things thrown around. I'm a difficult nut to crack, but labelled as a racist I will not have and will defend myself to the hilt Mate if it counts for anything I can honestly say I don’t think there’s any racists on the board from either side of the political fence.

I too can get a bit feisty (as badgers do when cornered). But at the end of the day I come on here for banter and laughs. And on the Stoke City side I like to give a considered opinion in the main. A couple of years ago I got caught up in the whole Sheikhy/Crappy/Mattyd saga and I regretted it and decided to mellow. I think others should do the same. I’m well aware certain posters don’t take to me and that’s a shame for me because I’m never out to upset people, I just want folk to take me as a decent person with a sharp wit/weirdo personality I may as well get in on all this man lovin. It's a subjective thing really. What one person deems to be racist another person may not deem as racist. Its a very divisive subject and not something which can be black or white (excuse the pun). That's why we need to try and see things from different perspectives. As we may interpret things wrongly or sometimes even deliver our arguments poorly where it can be misread.

Agreed however I do believe it’s overused on here by posters. I find it incredibly offensive particularly when those throwing it around know little about other posters lives outside the board. Sometimes in the heat of the moment it’s about taking a step back and not getting too personal. As you say we’ve all been guilty of jumping in but we need to sometimes ping a quick PM put our hands up and deal with it amicably and with class which I know you’re very good at.

Rachel McLean MP doing a sterling job on QT boosting the popularity of the opposition. I'm surprised they put her up again after her RMT letter fiasco last time.

Should add that I'm not defending Jess Phillips in any way. Just highlighting that one article makes the party more visible than the other. Could be nothing though. I only noticed it as I was trying to see where it would mention his party and realised it was about 10 paragraphs in.

Literally in 🤣 of laughter at her pathetic performance she is a 🚶 🚙 crash At one point Nandy looked over at her with a shy smile and thought, no I'm saying nothing here I'll let this lunatic carry on Even Fiona the Tory couldn't save her #PutinBadBrexitGood

It’s also interesting (unsurprising) to see what images they use for each politician. Jess Phillips looks exhausted in hers. The male Conservative (Julian Knight) accused of sexual misconduct just has a formal snapshot in a suit. I wonder why those specific images were chosen……

Julian Knights is the first result on Google from his wikipedia. Jess Philips wikipedia image is also the top result but a decision was made to find an image which made her look worse.

Oh FFS Andy, I wasn't going to watch it but now I'm going to have to switch it on, in a rubber-necking, car crash Rachel McLean kind of way!

That tactic has been going on forever, long before Ed Miliband's bacon sandwich. Today's Tory press carries pretty much the same pic of smiley Kate juxtaposed next to 'outrage' at the RMT. All designed to make people think "royals good, Unions bad". Pretty transparent stuff but clearly works on lots of people. Same thought-influencing approach when the tabloid Tory press front pages refer to 'Rishi' or 'Suella' or 'Boris' or 'Priti', they're your friends, you see, even when making you poorer or restricting your liberties, but by contrast always Starmer or Labour with the inevitable negative story.

Quite entertaining seeing Camilla Tominey pretending on national TV to come across as a journalist actually holding the government to account, before going back to writing for the Telegraph on how well the government is doing

As I said to Foster (whose words you have basically cut and pasted) I give as good as I get. You know what you are and many more on here have worked you out.Keep goading as much as you like, it won't wash. I will no longer respond to you on here, for the benefit of both of us. Not sure why you're referencing me really since all I've done is ask you to clarify what you mean, but you have just proved my point with that statement so thank you. I see you've also made a couple of others since so just what exactly is Kynpe? What is this thing you keep saying he is but won't reveal? Please enlighten the 'hard of thinking' and 'gammons' (your words not mine) on here? The way I'm interpreting your exchange is that if any of you is goading the other and avoiding answering a straight forward question then it's you. Now I'm not a fan of Knype's political views. Indeed, I probably agree with them less than I do with yours, so I'm not here to run to his rescue. However if there's one thing I can't abide, it's picking on easy targets, and this stinks of cyber bullying to me. If you actually took the time to read some of his stuff, you'd see he's guilty of that of which you accuse me. Anyway, I've made the decision to ignore him completely from now on for the benefit of my mental health. Cheers.

Oh FFS Andy, I wasn't going to watch it but now I'm going to have to switch it on, in a rubber-necking, car crash Rachel McLean kind of way! This? Rough interview. Credit to her though that she backtracks when she’s made a mistake and stated that she isn’t the most informed and that people should look Foreign Secretary. She refuses to be drawn into a debate about which politician is right, which is what they really wanted, and then makes the difficult statement that people do need to be prioritized. Her backtracking leads to a small laugh from the audience but it’s hardly “laughed out of the building” unless the clip continues and she is heckled out of there.

Though I must have missed the bit where he actually called you the equivalent of being labelled a racist. I expect that's probably because it only happened in 'Huddys World' ("Party time, excellent, a wooo wooo woo"). In any case, this is sooooooo yesterday and old news. New day, new dawn, and all that. Note: That quote above is a movie reference for those of us around in the 80s.
