Before the votes for hosting rights FIFA delegates were instructed not to take the issue of racism into account. So what was the point in that campaign they ran for years?

Then their media reported on great victories against the english. All countries and governments do barbaric things, but the Russians take it to new levels and seem to glorify it. The Marseille incident is a million pages down near the bottom of their rap sheet of course. I won't be watching the next two world cups. Fifa corruption etc..international football stinks and I put up with premier league corruption only because of stoke |

I don't think there would be a lot of trouble. That would damage Russia's reputation so I'm pretty sure that Putin would tell the hooligans to behave....or alternatively work in the mines in Siberia for the next 20 years.

Have you read `The Ugly Game` By Jonathen Calvert and Heidi Blake the Times Journos that unmasked Blatter and Fifa ? Not that our own FA are (in my opinion) any better |
