Lacazette was offside and the two say it was on-side because it was too close to call. So much keown bias and gerrard is just a scouse tool. lets be honest his ANKLE was offside

Reminds me of Walters knee being offside when Bojan scored that should of made it 4-0, a few years back.

From where I was sitting I was sure there was an offside (just before that one) that wasn't given and nearly cost us. I was so sure it was offside I was nearly over the wall and onto the pitch to remonstrate with the ref

He was useless.

i think in real life no lino in the world would ever have called it off, on that i agree with what they were trying to say, however as far as the rules of the game go it was off side Was today not real life then?

There once was a fella called Arnie, who was called offside at West Ham in very similar circumstances. Strangely enough, not much was made of it afterwards. That same person, later went on to score to earn a point for Stoke. Ha, Fucking Ha, from so many angles

I think that's what he said every match home and away for a decade Or actually, was it the other way round??????

The incident was offside. Unlucky for Lacazette, but the rule's the rules - whether it was by a mm or a yard. You did get the rub of the green with the penalty shouts. Zzzzzzzzz

Its clearly offside..any part of the player that can legally score a goal that is beyond the last man is offside..thats the rule. Keown & Gerrard should know that. Graham Poll spelled it out for them in words of one syllable yet they still wouldn't accept it. Fucking hell, if it had been allowed the lino would have been crucified for getting it wrong! Not if it was a Stoke goal though then it would simply have been , Unlucky Stoke....these things happen, The level of bias was some of the worst I've ever seen on a TV game.
They want us and other smaller clubs to accept our place as cannon fodder for their so called "Top Six" and question us if we dare to try and improve above what they think we should be.
The facts are simple
We Rode our luck ..so what all teams need luck
We Took our chance.. again all teams have to do that.
We dug in like the Alamo .. Best TEAM defensive display we've seen for ages, proud of them.
I have BT sport free for this year and have the match recorded to enjoy over and over and over again and no amount of biased Arsenal or Scouse bleating will ever change the result.

After being batted down by Humphries and Poll, Keown then decided to base his argument on because it was such a close decision the linesman could not of been 100% certain about it and therefore should not have been given. I was even embarrassed for him at that point, what a buffoon he is and as for Gerrard fuck me that was the first time ive seen his punditry "skills" I hope its the last time aswell.

If you thought you knew everything about the level of fuck-wittery of BT-Sport, Martin Keown and Steven 'the slip' Gerrard and haven't watched the clip, I strongly suggest you give it a whirl. It's quite glorious watching Keown get shut the fuck down.
Keown- This is definitely offiside *goes to official. Official- This is definitely onside.

I prefer to beat Arsenal in fortunate circumstances rather than absolutely outplay them as we have several times.
Couple of seasons ago the ref conned us out of what world have been a 4-0 or 5-0 win.
This is justice.
And its much better thinking of all those dick head arse fans sitting their thinking they have suffered some sort of injustice. I love it so much more

i think in real life no lino in the world would ever have called it off, on that i agree with what they were trying to say, however as far as the rules of the game go it was off side What they're trying to say is nonsense! There is a line which is deemed to be the offside line. The lino has to make a judgement call around that line. Sometimes it's a very close call, in which case the lino is more likely to get it wrong. I've always said it's wrong to to castigate the linesman for getting a close call wrong, as they're only human. Castigating the guy for getting a close call correct is just ridiculous! Fuck it if I was playing Fifa it would be offside ( controller slatted across the room with me screaming he was level)

In real time, there is absolutely no way the linesman can tell that he is offside, watching it slowed down frame by frame then it's 'obviously clear as day'.
I haven't seen their commentary, so can't comment on it but when the lino raised his flag, he was raising it because he thought he saw something he actually hadn't seen, well that's what it seems to me.

No argument, offside is offside, correctly given. Well done Lino, spot on decision.

I'm sitting here, genuinely thinking WTF am I reading?
If the linesman doesn't put his flag up for offside, he gets berated by Stoke fans and probably fans of every team OTHER than Arsenal. He raised his flag, and gets berated by Arsenal fans (understandably), the media - and some sections of Stoke fans ("because he can't be sure").
The rule is clear. If any part of the body from which a player can score, is between the goal line and second-last defensive player, the player is offside. If there is any doubt, the decision must favour the attacking team.
So, just to absolutely clarify. The linesman FIRMLY BELIEVED that Lacazette was offside, and so raised his flag to advise the referee of the offence. At no point did he ask Andre Marriner to come over "for a quiet word" to say he thought he might be offside... At no point did he hesitate in the decision. Therefore, he must CLEARLY have FIRMLY BELIEVED BEYOND DOUBT that Lacazette was offside. And guess what? TV replays indicate he was CORRECT.
Why are we even debating an official making a correct call? Is this an indicator of the levels of absurdity that officials and decision making has become in recent years?

He was getting dog's abuse because he hadn't been up with play on several occasions and missed other offsides. I don't know whether that influenced him, but it's something the pundits should have raised. I have absolutely no idea why they have Keown discussing Arsenal games.
