When the original deal was in place I was told that personal terms etc were all in place it was just a case of the clause being triggered and Martins Indi definitely deciding he wanted to come. Could be wrong of course the whole saga seems to be bizarre........ |

Surely the only reason we didn't take him up is that we didn't want him? Can there be any other explanation? The option was there at a reasonable pre agreed price and we decided not to take it up. Perhaps we saw zouma as a better option. Baffling we haven't signed him, but I can't see why else we wouldn't have. Weird thing is seems we have to pay 8m for Zouma for 1 season and not own him and not that much more for Bruno and then can potentially sell him for a profit makes no sense even if Zouma seen as better it cant be by much !!! very frustrating if we fuck this one up That 8mil if anywhere near accurate will include wages as well. |

One thing I find disturbing is the lack of any comments from the club over anything at the moment. I know a lot is done quietly but it wouldn't do any harm to tell the fans what's happening (or not) with the Bruno deal would it? And wouldn't it be nice for once if they did a Swansea and came out and said Arnautovic is our player and actually put a figure on his head.

I can't stand this bloke he's bull shitted his way into the club and is getting paid a kings ransom no doubt, him and Scholes need removing and replacing with some clinical executives who can actually negotiate and complete contracts, deals etc This whole Bruno thing reeks of amateurs. I've met Tony Scholes in the past, comes across as a nice guy but I always thought this bloke will get eaten alive by the current crop of agents in the game, looks like I might have been right after all! |

At the moment, I can only think of two other possibilities: • Stoke feel that they've been gazumped by Porto & effectively told them to stick the deal where the sun doesn't shine. • Porto are trying to use the Palace talk as a lever to force Stoke's hand. I suppose this depends on where the Palce talk originated from (Palace / Porto / agent). |

As things stand, Zouma isn't confirmed and we don't know what is happening with Shawcross. Our back three next season could be Muni, Wolly and Cameron.
