If you genuinely think these are the policies of some extreme left winger then you really are a bit stupid. There is no gender pay gap?

There is no gender pay gap? yes there is. Tell you what, he's live on the news now, why don't you set your prejudice aside and listen with an open mind? Show me a list of jobs where women get paid less per hour than men for doing exactly the same job. The stats are always skewed bullshit where different jobs & hours get lumped in together to show somekind of bias. There is no job (That I know of) where if you do the same role, to the same skill level, for the same amount of hours, that women get paid less than men... If this was really the case then every shop, every factory, every warehouse, every building site etc... would be filled to the brim with female workers 'cos the company would save a bundle in getting to pay them less than if they employed male staff. I haven't got a prejudice against Corbyn (Infact when he first became leader I had great hopes for him) I'm a lifelong Labour voter who'd love to vote Labour again, but whilst their answer to completely out-of-control immigration is to throw our doors open even wider, nothing else they have to say matters.

Hammered, cartels serve to fix prices artificially high, is that what the EU does today? Yes in short, it keeps out non EU goods and services with tariffs which can drive inefficiency, the guy from Wetherspoons has been quoted as saying he buys 95% of his wine from Australia, Zealand, South Africa and South America because it's cheaper than wine from EU even with tariffs. That's protectionism not price-fixing ducky. All developed nations impose quotas and tariffs, the EU provides a bigger bloc giving member states' companies access to a bigger internal market free from such constraints. Britain had negotiated its way into a good position: no Euro, no Schengen, no real European army and we've chosen to gamble losing this access. Whatever the EU's faults, the international trade has been excellent, and I fear we must now negotiate our knackers off to retain a decent fraction of it.

Why is he a wanker? Is it that he because he doesn't agree with the ongoing privatisation of the NHS? Is it that he agrees that there should be a massive investment in social housing instead of propping up millionaire landlords? Is it that he wants to ensure a decent education to all schoolkids, not just the top 20-30% whose parents can afford extra tuition and who know the secret handshake? Is it that he wants to tax the multi billion pound companies effectively and not donate £700-800 million to companies that pick on disabled folk? Is it that he wants a minimum wage that is worth earning? So the benefit system doesn't have to "prop up" multi nationals etc. etc. etc. I'll wait for the terrorist loving, baby eater Daily Mail bollocks reply from the usual suspects. Try listening to what he actually says, not to what you are told he has said. He certainly sounds like Labour to me That's the problem, people are not listening and forming opinion from the Daily Mail. No the problem is people like you assuming anyone who doesn't vote Corbyn is a thick daily mail reader. You can't polish a turd people just don't like or trust Corbyn lifelong Labour strongholds like Sunderland and middlesboro seen set to turn blue. Today Lady Nugee was sent out to tell everyone how Labour will take on the elite whilst rubbishing McDonnell's policy announced yesterday off higher taxes on salaries over 70k, project catastrofuck strikes again.

May's record on delivering her promises on immigration is abysmal. Immigration may reduce slightly but mass immigration will remain post Brexit because it has to. This is another of the real reasons she's called the election. To try and get a big enough majority to stave off far right rebellion in the Tory party when the real swivelled eye brexiteers realise this managing our own borders and restricting immigration in any meaningful way is just fantasy.

Yes, the World Trade Organisation have a list of tariff rates. If we default to W.T.O. tariffs with the E.U. we'll be trading with our biggest trading bloc i.e.50% of our exports facing tariffs! Chicken May said this deal was better than a bad deal. However, we won't be able to judge Chicken May on what she has delivered in 3 years time because she wants us to vote blind on June 8th!

Sadly the evidence suggests otherwise. And if you think the Tories are the answer to "out of control immigration" then you're very wrong there too. What evidence? Show me one advert for a job that says "Men = £x per hour/ Women = £y per hour" for the exact same role requiring the exact same skills. And I don't think the Tories are the answer to pretty much anything, I've never voted Tory & can't imagine as I ever would. Sadly there is no party that represents me (And millions of bog standard working class British people like me)

Farron has a big problem with this. For sure if Nick Clegg was still the leader I'd be be getting in bed with the LibDems. Either way I expect we will hear shortly from Tim Farron that it is not a sin, he surely can't leave this one hanging or his 'liberal' credentials are in tatters. Far be it from me to defend Nice but Dim Tim but I believe his voting record on gay rights / marriage proves he has backed it pretty much every time, weird that he couldn't come out and say no its not a sin or the bible says if you're sued give them your shirt and coat and I don't pay attention to that either. It seems he probably does believe it is a sin but will put aside his own beliefs / principles whatever you want to call them and do the right thing (on this matter anyway), quite a contrast with Mr Corbyn whose own beliefs override everything. I think it's was a general question about faith and modern values. Farron said we we were all sinners at some point. Not sure how or when the gay thing came into it.

There are many reasons why there is a wage gap between men and women and pay inequality is only one of them and it's insignificant in comparison to the other reasons. When women and men are doing the same job they generally get paid the same, with a few exceptions. - Men tend to work in the more dangerous, higher risk jobs which pay a lot, like working on oil rigs. - Women leave the workforce to have children, they tend to work less hours, they tend to gravitate towards lower paid jobs.

Semantics ducky, if you impose tariffs and quotas, thereby reducing the supply and competition you can then charge higher prices for your own goods to meet demand. That's price fixing to me. And the problem with the EU is it wasn't happy to leave as it was it wants complete political and fiscal union, I don't want to be part of a USSR of the EU so I voted out like many other people.

Good start from Jezza today
Might be an interesting campaign if the media are fair. May needs to bring more to the table than the 'safe pair of hands' line. Could get a bit dull and trite over a 6 week period.

It inner semantics shug. Take a local company with export ambitions, say a potbank, they could face competition from the great porcelain companies of Limoges and scrap it out in the market. Price fixing is if Stoke and Limoges companies colluded to make their teacups a tenner minimum in Europe. Asian imports can still compete but with an added quota as a handicap as protectionism.

"They think there are rules in politics, which if you don't follow by doffing your cap to powerful people, accepting that things can't really change, then you can't win. But of course those people don't want us to win. Because when we win, it's the people, not the powerful, who win. The nurse, the teacher, the small trader, the carer, the builder, the office worker win. We all win". "They say I don't play by the rules - their rules. We can't win, they say, because we don't play their game. They're quite right, I don't. And a Labour Government elected on 8 June won't play by their rules". "These rules have created a cosy cartel which rigs the system in favour of a few powerful and wealthy individuals and corporations. It's a rigged system set up by the wealth extractors for the wealth extractors". "But things can, and they will, change. And Labour in this election will be part of a movement of the British people to make that change". "How dare they crash the economy with their recklessness and greed, and then punish those who had nothing to do with it". "We will overturn this rigged system. The Conservatives will never do that. Seven years of broken promises show us that: on wages, the deficit, the NHS, our schools, our environment".

So he can offer the earth, it's irrelevant. People have already made up their mind. Most don't like him Most see him as weak Most don't like his links to the IRA Most don't see him as a PM If he can't win over his own MPs how can he win the country
