So at which point do we blame the election result on Russia, China, Iran or Palestine interference? That's usually what comes next in the aftermath of these elections. Apparently it was fixed, according to Trump before the results came out. I imagine he's changed his mind now š¤

I agree, but that's absolutely no consolation. There is a huge vacuum that has been created. It's nothing to do with left or liberal, it's just a combination of sheer incompetence and self interest. But what is filling this vacuum is beyond dire. My point is I cant see how anyone can muster any kind of enthusiasm for this option There is absolutely nothing to celebrate here. You cant be enthusiastic about someone because they are a better liar than the one standing next to them. I agree in part. I do think wokery (which is a "liberal" but deeply illiberal concept) is really starting to piss ordinary people off now. You can just feel that the majority in the West are starting to turn and have really had enough of this shit. The woke ideology of Harris combined with her painfully patronising tone on such subjects will have cost her significant votes. Throw in a stagnant economy, border crisis, inability to tackle foreign affairs and severe dip in law and order and Trump winning is probably the least surprising news of the week. This 100%. He tapped into the zeitgeist. He spoke to the masses, won the black and Hispanic votes and kept his cool when the Dems resorted to desperate and dirty tactics. I'm no Trump fan but he played a blinder.

I'm no Trump fan but he played a blinder. Is anyone surprised he won though? I thought it was obvious. It just goes with the trend. Vote one in, vote them out next time. It's getting pretty much universal. They have only got to say time for a change, and that's more or less it. It's not an achievement of democracy, it's just a circus where most of us end up feeling like the clown with the sad face by the end of the show. I would hesitate associating the word 'cool' with Trump though tbh

What is it about Donald Trump people like? From a US citizen, I can see the view that he might be stronger on the economy and therefore result in more money in your pocket, and we are self serving creatures after all. But what is it about him that people over here love? I think they see in him someone who can give them more money in the pocket. After all, that's all that counts. Yeah, but itās tied to a piece of string that somehow works itās way back into his pocket.

He seems to hate foreigners in America, unless they are rich, can make him rich, or he can fuck them.

Will he be personally vetting every one to meet this criteria, or are you maybe caricaturing?

Yeah, and on Swedish TV they said Trump claimed before the result came in, that it was wrong and fake, so now Swedish journalists wait for him to give them his written protest.

Do you think he will be open to lots of refugees fleeing the Middle East, or Ukraine for example?

You're better off not getting the Hollywood woke endorsement. There's nothing an ordinary voter wants to see less than some millionaire Hollywood star telling them what to do in a really patronising tone. I guess they will all be crying into their soy lattes this morning. I'll have a bit of coconut milk with mine thank you āŗļø Oat milk can be good too. I prefer cow milk myself. Mickey Mouse has grown up a cow!

I just realised he's 78 years old.
When they say he's their 47th President, how do they count then? How do they count him now when he has been President before? There have been another President at the post two times before as well.
Or do they mean it's the 47th time they have picked a President?

There have been another President at the post two times before as well. Or do they mean it's the 47th time they have picked a President? It's based on the number of different individuals who have served as president, rather than the number of presidential terms. Each president is assigned a unique number in the chronological order of their presidency. The numbering continues regardless of whether a president serves multiple terms. So, Franklin D. Roosevelt served four terms, but he is still counted as the 32nd president. Similarly, Grover Cleveland is the first president to have served two non-consecutive terms, making him both the 22nd and 24th president. Trump is therefore only the second president to have served two non-consecutive terms making him both 45th and 47th US president.

Thereby they were wrong on Swe TV saying two Presidents two times.

The Swedish Prime Minister, the Conservative Ulf Kristersson held a balanced speech on what to expect now. He also gave his congratulations to Trump early today as soon as the result was ready.
In a few mins our Communist leader (V, Left Party) Nooshi Dadgostar will share her thoughts in the TV studio.

Being against discrimination of a particular group of people because of their age or gender or sexuality or skin colour is woke. I imagine most people are woke in those ways (I bloody well hope so!). I think what you mean is when wokery goes too far and people become overly worried about offending people and positively discriminate as a result. Which, again, most people would agree is tedious and unnecessary. There is a certain irony about Rossiās post about millionaire hollywood actors telling you what they think. What about billionaire TV personalities!? Why is one ok and not the other!? It makes no sense.
