ive noticed a real culture shift in perceptions of normality and its gone too far
when i realised i would scrimp and look the ABCDE price labels and sandwiches and always go for the cheap option A (eg plain cheese) for £1.90 for lunch at work but then think nothing of spending £5 on a latte with caramel at 3pm, thats when i realised i had gone too far (food/coffe split)
but this has happened for other people in much more serious areas/
My fiancees mate is (or was) a Gay, lets call him Febs (probably not his real name)
Febs decided after much anguish to abandon the gay lifestyle and have a girlfriend, but he is so embarrassed about being straight that he tells people his girlfriend is his sister when they go out
Febs is the complete opposite of what would have happened only 2 or 3 years ago, eg have a girl as a beard to prevent people thinking he was a Gay

Whenever you think that surely political correctness can't get anymore batshit crazy, along comes the latest installment of " Oh yes it fucking can!". Sex education lessons in which pupils as young as eight will be told ‘all genders’ have periods were yesterday condemned as unnecessarily confusing for young children.
The classes follow guidelines that were issued to teachers to help them avoid offending girls who identify as boys.
But critics described the guidelines as inappropriate and another example of political correctness gone mad.
The teacher guidance, from Brighton & Hove City Council, states: ‘Trans boys and men and non-binary people may have periods.’ It says language about menstruation must be inclusive of ‘all genders’ and orders that ‘bins for used period products are provided in all toilets’ for children. |

I'm all for people becoming who/what they want once they reach maturity, but this indoctrination of kids has got to stop.
If people want to class themselves as non-binary then that's upto them, but let's stop trying to pass it off to impressionable kids as 'the norm' because, I'm sorry, it most definitely is not 'the norm'.
Alternative lifestyles need to fit around society and not the other way round.

Has anyone else spotted this annoying trend from liberal social justice types? Clicking fingers instead of clapping in public. It's apparently less threatening than applause! Jesus wept. I fear it may be spreading, because at an Apple product launch some of the audience were doing it. I have never understood what this thread was all about, until I went to this meeting and suddenly a poet was reading some lyrics on stage (totally out of the schedule), and someone said : after a poet you can't clap your hands, show your appreciation by clicking your fingers instead. |

I went to a gig 2or 3 years ago in Wolves (Ricky Warwick) and a couple of people there derived great amusement from how loud I clapped. Every time a song ended I'd clap and cheer (you know, like you do at gigs when you're enjoying it!) and every time siad people laughed like fuck. At the end I said glad you liked my clapping and qas told "yeah but you were really loud". God forbid you'd actually go to an event and let your hair down and have fun eh lol
