The way I look at this is, his agent or Liverpool leaked the story. If they hadn't we wouldn't be any the wiser that we have made an offer.
Regardless of our offer if he doesn't want to come to Stoke then he won't, Swansea or no Swansea link.

Allen is a Swansea fan and Swansea have the money just like we do. Berahino will go to the club who pay him the most. Nothing to so with not being cheerful, just my take on what I think will be the probable outcome. To be honest I wouldn't be bothered if we got neither. Allen is lightweight and Berahino is overpriced and his attitude is suspect to say the least. H |

If Swansea are now preparing a bid that's a separate matter and we can't stop them doing so. If Joe Allen wants to go home to Swansea he wants to go home to Swansea and again that's nothing to do with us. We might seem a more attractive option to some/most but not to a Swansea boy I doubt |
