I've no info either but my sense is the opposite. He's off, he's promised himself he is off so off he is. Not so sure about the money thing but Koeman and Everton will be selling the club hard to him, not just the money but the potential, the trophy cabinet, not this season for Europe but the next 2 and 3 seasons after that. They have won a lot of shit down the years and will feel they can do so again. Well chief, one of will be right, I'm hoping its me, but your points are what Ronald will using. He must look at what we have done and question if we can achieve something, maybe make history and go down in our history as the best period we have had, but hopefully not more to come Fingers crossed its me that's right chief |

People moan about him possibly going to an average team but he's an average player who's ego is far greater than his talent! He walks with a swagger of ronaldo or zlatan but isn't fit to lace their boots!
I just hope that if he does go to play for those scouse bastards that we give him plenty of abuse! Just like krissy commons - he wanted to play for a bigger club and went to forest!

As his current release clause conditions are void after the end of July ( I understand that this is the case ) then this delay does make some sense on both sides. Time for compromise? I do hope so Everton can have him for £50m on 1st August then. That's my interpretation of the situation If Everton really want him and he wants to move there He would (probably ) gain financially So would his agent So would our club! Everton on the hand would be paying 4 x our new asking price I think and hope that Arnie wants to stay and hope that a deal can be made to keep him here |

Stoke have done no more than West Brom in recent seasons yet no doubt you'll see (and rightly so) Berahino moving to yourselves as a step up for him, whereas by some of your fans logic and similarly Southampton fans regarding Koeman only a move to a top 6 club would be a step up? Anyways no one know's what's happening, if he signs for us great, likewise if he stays hopefully he doesn't leave you guys in the lurch next season. Fans of a certain vintage are old enough to have seen better players come and go from their respective clubs, I wouldn't let sky and their manipulation of Skybet's odds keep you up at night! Our starting 11 comprises of 2 Belgian internationals, 4 England internationals, 2 Irish internationals and Spains under 21 captain, we also are chasing the calibre of players such as Witsel and carvalho, and whilst we haven't signed them the fact we are after said players shows the ambition of the club. If martinez had managed yourselves last season and hughes managed us would you have finished above us? I doubt it. I'm not doubting Stoke have impoved massively in recent seasons but I think your fans are overestimating your potential. The fact we finished 11th yet could still take Koeman from 5th placed southampton and Walsh from title winning Leicester says a lot, would Stoke have been able to have done the same in our position? I think a lot of fans from the outside underestimate us and our massive potential, and that isn't to direspect Stoke in anyway who as I've always said I have a soft spot for. All I'll say is I've heard the "why would he make a sideways/downwards step to everton from Southampton fans regarding Koeman. (although I doubt we are even in for him based on the original vague source). |
