Think he would be a very good signing for £12-15 million. Lukaku will stay this year we have effectively priced him out of a move at £75 million,Stones will go for £50-55 million though. Martinez massively mismanaged us the last 2 seasons the current squad had us on 72 points 3 seasons ago which would have had us 2nd/3rd this season just gone. Koeman will instantly improve us and 4-5 good signings will push us on imo. Will be very tight in the top half next season though. Linked currently with Witsel, Carvalho and Koulibaly (at £40 million!), if we could get those in + a solid GK I would be very happy. (GK) Coleman Koulibaly Jagielka Baines Witsel Carvalho Deulofeu Barkley Arnautovic Lukaku Alot of strength in that side we have been weak as piss last season. Lot of ifs and buts there fella. Be surprised if you got all of those targets through the door. If you do take Arnie off us then I hope you enjoy what he brings. Mercurial talent with a huge dollop of bat shit crazy. I will be gutted if he goes. I agree mate all ifs and buts right now, the problem we have is we are targetting players that CL clubs are also in for so it's going to be hit and miss I think.I apologise if it sounds like I'm being arrogant in that post it's just annoying for Everton fans when clubs like Southampton (and no disrespect to them) and some of your fans on twitter give it the bigun about how they are a much bigger club etc. on the back of 2 seasons when we had one of the leagues worst managers at the helm. Historically/success wise we are a big club with a big fanbase and are a genuine sleeping giant. The new owner is highly ambitious and whilsy he isn't as rich as an Abramavich he doesn't need to be if he wants to invest big money in the side, he's also highly rumoured to be backed by a Russian oligarch (was also interesting that Moscow papers claimed Usmanov was buying us but then 2 days later Moshiri his long time business partner and fellow arsenal shareholder sold up his stake and bought us) a few respected ITK's have noted how he may sell up at arsenal in the near future and join our board (alongside strangely David Dein who was involved in the deal once Kenwright leaves completely). no one quite knows what is going on at our boardroom level, but in the space of a few months he took Koeman and Walsh from Southampton and the league champions respectively, and has already begun negotiations with the Liverpool mayor regarding a new 55-60k stadium possibly on the docks (the mayor reckons It could be done within 3 years) which would be on the Liverpool skyline and would make anfield look like a backwater stadia. Needless to say these are not the actions of a bloke who isn't afraid to throw money at what he wants. If Arnautovic signs great, if not I hope he signs a new deal at you guys and doesn't try leave on a free, I always find that's a cunts trick to pull on a club who pay your wages.

He should get both barrels of abuse if he leaves for that shower of shit club. All this nonesense about him wanted to achieve him ambitions when alls he cares about is lining is pocket, and with what a measly extra 20k a week? They haven't even got the money to pay him that much more than us! Don't think it's gonna happen mate but fuck him if it does, you're right.

Our own chief executive told me that your £100 million spending money is through the sale of Lukaku and Stones and I've also heard from various Everton fans say that your new owners money is all tied up in his businesses and he hasn't actually got any cash. Who knows though ey? One thing is for sure though, Peter Coates has got his Loch Ness monster sized transfer ding dong out.

I was disappointed that N'Zonzi left but didn't blame him for going to Sevilla one bit. Arnie going to Everton will be a bit of a kick in the teeth for me as I've been defending the guy for months saying he's "not moving for the money" and "wants to play in Europe like N'Zonzi" but if he goes to Everton that will prove to be wrong. The one thing I'll say about Arnie is throughout this whole sage his attitude has been first class imo and with that, I still have faith that he'll either stay or only go to a club that is truly a step up from us. If he does that, I'll be disappointed but fine with it.

Whilst there's nothing new in the article the headline talks about it reaching its climax and talks of the club being hopeful. Any coincidence that this has appeared tonight after his brother/agent was at the training ground today?

Can't fault that mate, him going to Everton makes very little sense, I always felt it was about him achieving honours, I hope he does stay though.

The way Everton are set to splash the cash at the minute, I'm not sure Arnie would be a regular starter for them. If he does go there, that's something he'll have to get used to and may not like.

I really think the wings are the last positions they need to strengthen! Other areas must be more important, especially if Stones and Lukaku leave! Mirallas, Lennon and Delofeu seem decent cover enough to me!

If Arnie goes on to leave for Everton I will be majorly pissed off. The whole premise of him leaving has been, its not about money, he wants to further his career, wants Champions League football. I concede that Everton are a bigger club than us structurally with a bigger fan base(not for much longer with the Epgytians flowing in ). Last season they were shit, they will undoubtedly be better next season with Koeman but there is still no Champions League football. If Arnie leaves for Everton, I will never forgive him.

It's no secret that Arnie wants to be at the top, it comes out every time he does an interview and there's nothing wrong with that at all, it's also no secret that Hughes and Stoke have done wonders for him as a player and as a person, he's matured massively and works very well with the coaching staff
With all that in mind why go to Everton, they're a bigger club obviously but they're not where he wants to be, why risk leaving a manager and team that "gets" you to go into the unknown if there's no European football their either? New tactics, new coaching staff, new set of players, new everything
If a team in Europe hasn't come in for him by now he's surely better picking up where he left off with us last season until there comes a time where they're fighting over him?

When Im driving down to stoke for another match - always at some point in the journey, Im thinking
'whats Arnie going to do today' ?
mad as a box of frogs - sulky, brooding but also, possessing simple raw strength and sheer footballing ability right up there
at the very top of the premier league
he can do absolutely anything he likes on a football pitch when he puts his mind to it - and the opposition can only -stand and watch
Hes EXACTLY the type of player I pay my money to go see
hes the star - the cherry on top - the enigma - our 'Cantona'
I will be gutted if he leaves

If we give that to him then what happens to all the other big names we've got? They'll do exactly the same. For me, it's bye bye Arnie. Gread at its absolute worst. When N'zonzi went it was okay, he'd gone to better himself. He turned down more money at Stoke to better himself at Sevilla Arnie going to Everton is a side step and a fucking wank side step at that.

Diouf is probably on 60k, Shaq provably about 70k and it doesn't bear thinking about what new signings will be on. Our top goalscorer in this day and age is worth that imo.
