Is anyone around the team in Orlando to see if he is still there. We know he went yesterday so bizarre if he had already signed.

I can cope with arnie leaving if it's abroad. If it's another prem club and one who finished below us last season and no bigger than us I think I'll have a bastard breakdown. Everton are clearly a bigger club than us but I agree with the sentiment. At this point in time, when you consider some of the clubs who will have been watching him, Everton would effectively be a sideways move.

The article is a bit fishy tbh, but that being said, there was people saying on here that his brother who's his agent was down Clayton woods today, which when u put the 2 together is a bit worrying, that being said 15 million for a player in his last 12 months of his contract is good business, also the fact his still not singed a new contract makes me think he's not staying, but of that was the case why has he gone to America??

If true that he goes to Everton then it is not for football reasons,so should we match what package Everton offer him or just say thanks and move on.

He's in Orlando with the squad today. Seems a bit odd if he's ready to be transferred.

Think it would be a strange move and indicative of the apparent lack of noise linking him elsewhere.
Everton are a good club with a great history but they've been pretty shit more often than not lately and if you were Arnie they probably weren't the club he was envisaging would be a front runner for his signature.

Thought he wanted Champions League footy, hardly going to get it at Everton. Hoping this is just tabloid shit.

Maybe we want player's we are looking to sign think that he is staying (i.e not saying either way) so we have simply said to Arnie- you're still contracted to us so you're going. I could see us keeping hold of him for the year then letting him go if nobody meets the minimum clause.

If this happens it will piss me off, right off the scale.
Everton. Fucking Everton? Like someone said on Twitter, it's like living in Blackpool and holidaying in Llandudno.
Outside of money, I cannot understand the move. I'd understand better if he joined Leicester ferfuxache.
I fucking love Arnie. For now.

The source has 400 followers Odd how that twitter account has so few followers. But the newspaper apparently sells nearly 1m copies a day - and the story is definitely on their website.

That article says he signed a contract with them on Tuesday. Which is odd considering he's out in the US with us and played a friendly since. Wreaks of bollocks! Hopefully >> Marko Arnautovic should be immediately in front of a shift from Stoke City to Everton. According to "crown" the 27-year-old has already signed a four-year contract on Tuesday the transfer is to be officially confirmed. Made possible the transfer a release clause of around 15 million euros in the Treaty of Arnautovic. The Viennese could be a replacement for striker Romelu Lukaku, who is about to finish. The traditional club of Liverpool ended last season in eleventh place, two places behind Stoke. But Everton wants sporty improve in the coming season and is ready for it to dig deep into their pockets. Besides Arnautovic also the Belgian Axel Witsel from Zenit St. Persburg to come for rumored € 30 million to the "Toffees". << Why would we pay for his air fare to US - if this was/is the case? Garbage merchant?

Evening chaps
I come in peace. Any clues from any of your ITK's on this one? None of ours had heard this was true, only that we were making a signing in the next 2 days.
No one really seems to know the real Arnautovic. Is he a MOTD player or is he a really good player? We all seem to know our own players and often know how to rate them better than opposing fans.
No clue if we have moved for him.
With regards to Everton, we have been shit for a couple of years due to Martinez, but before that were always 5-8th every season. We now have now adjusted the club from top to bottom from Moshiri, Koeman and Walsh and will attack the Premier League however it's needed. They will spend big.
New stadium very soon and the aim is the league and champions league football very quick.
You will see some massive names into Everton over the next few years
People in the football circle can't believe it. Even Tony Scholes was questioning it. They are going for it big time.
Personally, I don't see where he would fit within our squad if we do sign him. But for the price mentioned, I can see why Koeman would go in for him.
Anyway, good luck for the season.

Better now than deadline day.
And for those who think him being in America means he isn't signing for somebody else - Nani was in France when he signed for a Spanish team last month.
And joe Allen was still on holiday when we heard solid rumours that he may be signing.
I want him to stay but if he doesn't want the same then he's gotta go.

It will certainly be an interesting move. Everton fans aren't well known for their patience and I can't see them putting up with his petulant moments one iota.
Oh well, needs games and all that. All the best Arnie.

Without even going rose tinted, surely Everton are in a similar bracket as us currently for what Arnie is looking for??
League Winners - 1% as Leicester proved, there's always a chance.
Top 6 - Would require a corking season where everything went right to dislodge one of the bigger clubs.
League/FA Cup - All boils down to luck with the draw.
Am I missing something? as great a history as they have they've been a declining force since Moyes left.

Objectively, as much as I like him and when he's been on song he's been outstanding, I wouldn't say he was better than Mirallas. Has he still got a future at the club?

But can't see any way on earth they're going to break into the top 7 over the next 3 years- and neither are we. But if they offer him an extra £10,000-a-week, presumably he'd go.
