Say Arnie would accept 110k a week for a new five year deal. £28.6m Total Chadli would cost £15m transfer fee + 70k a week? £33.2m Total I know what i would prefer I'd prefer to keep Arnie too but using your example the actual cost to the club for Chadli would be £2.5m (£15m-£12.5m for Arnie) + 70k a week, so £2.5m to save just over £2m a year on wages over 5 years Using that example Arnie would cost -£2.5m (12.5m-15m) |
