Yes he is worth it. To SCFC he is. No he isn't. I'm all for him staying, that's why I hope he plays shit, and Austria crash out, but he's not worth 100k a week. He'd be on way more than anyone else, and he'd have to be fantastic every week to justify that. He is. If shaqiri is worth 80. Then arnie is worth 100. He is our best player. |

Unfortunately we'll be talking about issues about contracts and wages for our players for years to come because we have top quality footballers who want to better themselves and reach the highest level of football.
Arnie, Butland, Shaq, Bojan, Imbula? I really hope they stay with us and we turn in to a real top 6 side in the coming years!

Feel a bit sorry for him. He's been playing in a team that I think has some serious team spirit issues.....they rarely looked to the left to Arnie. I don't know, maybe he's had a fallout but I can't see why you wouldn't want to use one of your best players in the team. Anyway, hopefully the upshot is Arnie gets reminded what it's like to be loved and wanted and it helps make his mind up to stay.

I thought he did Ok.
For me the big disappointment was Alaba who was awful. Thought the long haired midfielder with the very long name looked pretty decent.
I still really hope Arnie signs a new contract. If he goes we'll really miss him not just because of his playing ability but because he's a real maverick character.
