werder tries for month to get rid of him. he refused all offers. west ham, etc. cause he only wants to go to a "big club", whatever that means in his own little arnautovic world. he's a complete headcase. locker room cancer, getting in trouble every five minutes. I would just like to bring this post to everyone's attention ????

I would just like to bring this post to everyone's attention ???? Am I missing something? He couldn't really be the opposite, a dressing room cancer? Everyone seems to love him.

To think, at a time here on the oatcake... most thought he was a useless, lazy arrogant twat who wouldn't make his worth to the side... Funny that. I've got to admit I was one who slated Arnie at times because he was lazy & arrogant, I'm not sure what's changed (perhaps Hughes deserves huge credit) but Arnie is now committed & motivated and when you add these traits to his undoubted talent you have a footballing star, long may his commitment and enthusiasm continue and hopefully in the Red & White stripes with SCFC

Could never understand the laziness accusations, he always covered plenty of ground.
Arnies main problem when he is out of form is that he tries to do too much, takes on one too many, tries over ambitious shots but i just don't ever recall him not giving everything in terms of running.
I have to say i'm not sure he was entirely fit enough in the first year, probably as a result of being in and out of first team football for a while prior to arriving, or, often it appeared to me he would literally run himself into the ground 1st half before fading badly second half.
Always said to my old man, who slated him constantly, that he would come good. Just because even when he wasn't delivering you always noticed him and for a forward or a winger thats a hell of a lot better than only realising he was on the pitch after 30 mins. When he's out of form cross go astray, he can;t get past his man and his shooting is poor but he was always trying to get crosses in, still trying to beat his man, still had the belief to pull the trigger. He never, ever hid.

Most important signing of the window this one...possibly the next 4 windows. Huge player for us and priceless. We would be a far shitter team without him and we shouldn't sell at any cost..

Lets enjoy it while we can, he's not going to be here for ever. maybe but i very much doubt if he'd go anywhere in january. the lure of 'big' clubs is not what it was. Not sure any of them bar possibly man city or arsenal can guarantee champions league any more - we need to go eyeballs out to keep him.

What was the problem in putting this in the thread dedicated to Arnie? I was just going to post a link to this Arnie Guardian too. Should all posts of this nature go into the specific player thread? HNYbtw.

What was the problem in putting this in the thread dedicated to Arnie? I value your view but I, for one, am glad it didn't, otherwise it would have just got lost, as many other interesting articles are, when merged with page after page after page of insignificance.
