Saturday's under 18's win highlights. Abdullah looks a unit . Southampton media unit can produce that with 3 cameras? And we struggle to put uncommentated, barely edited videos out. We are shit Something that definitely needs to be looked at, especially with our new academy facilities. Teams in the champ and one or two in League 1 even have highlights of thier Junior sides. |

Watching the uefa youth league final, PSG vs Chelsea, there is a huge gap in quality between the Chelsea team and our u21's, they look like they could play in the premiership now, ours look nowhere near That will be because they Hoover up the best kids from around the uk and Europe and throw money at them and the parents to get them in the academy. They've been doing it for years, Stoke have only just started paying money for academy kids, you get what you pay for! |

My tip is Lewis banks RB Forgot to include him - decent shout. I've heard good things about Luis Silva - a bit early to tell, but he could come through as a very good ball playing centre back: ex-Benfica youth skipper, just signed first 3 year professional deal. |

Forgot to include him - decent shout. I've heard good things about Luis Silva - a bit early to tell, but he could come through as a decent ball playing centre back. Abdallah has the physical aspects, Ngoy could genuinely be special IF and I mean IF he gets play time soon, he should have been playing u21s all season not u18s, Shenton obviously and maybe Lecgyne, other than that, Verlinden and Sorensen must have something or we wouldn't have bought them. Molina and Moha aren't setting the world on fire I'm sorry to say and the defences of both the u21s and u18s are quite poor in all honesty. |

Choulay isn't good enough for the first team yet. Including him on the bench recently was a token gesture. I agree that he isn't good enough but it was far from a token gesture. Over the seniors, U-21's and U-18's we have 4 wingers! So that's about a pool of 50/60 and we have 4. Crazy. |

Let me put into perspective, the 21s finished mid table in the 2nd division and recently lost 2-0 to Crewe reserves, I think that tells you the level that they're at, having said that results aren't everything in academy football, just look at United, if you give someone a chance then who knows what can happen, I like Ngoy and think he'd be more than capable of doing a job off the bench

I think there is potential within the players mentioned but the 18's moving up next season need to play matches and that will be difficult unless the club sort out loans for the older players. |
