Definitely a concern that we could be losing some potentially good future players especially when for the one spot up front we have too many players in: Crouch, Odemwingie, Walters, Joselu, Diouf and Bojan. We need to thin out the amount of players there so that we can give the 5-15 minute appearances to the likes of N'Goy, Waring and Telford. I see us going after a top notch striker this summer and so with Odemwingie leaving it would be good to see one or two of Crouch, Walters or Diouf leave. Bang on. Said the same thing the other day. I'd like to think Hughes will have a good look at N'Goy, Telford, Waring, Shenton, Taylor etc in preseason whilst some of the first team lads are on their break after the Euros. It really does look like we've got a lot of talent there. Just need to integrate them with the first team now. Would be good to see Hughes doing that, for me personally it's the striking position I think we can be most lean with - especially with Waring, Telford and N'Goy having atleast the ability to play in League 1 or above. Bojan, Walters and Diouf can play more than 1 position so those are the important players to keep and maybe add one outstanding striker whilst getting rid of the rest. |

He does seem a very exciting prospect. Hopefully he'll get some good lower league experience next season and can come back and break into our first team after that.

Ngoy has definitely signed pro terms with the club, just for whatever reason the club have chose not to announce it Brilliant news if true! It would make sense to give him a spot on the bench before the end of the season to give him some encouragement as he seems the shining light of the youngsters. With so many strikers on the bench would it do any harm in a dead rubber to give him 10 mins action. |

We won 2-1 in the end, now in the final. I'm not sure how prestigious the competition is though, Notts County are no where near our standard are they.

I thought Verlinden was just taking the piss out of Sadiki. (No idea what's funny about it though!  ) Must have been some sort of inside joke. |
