There is no way the game will be on. There's trees and everything flying around in May Bank. Its horrific, I'm going no where.

If they are calling the game off they got to do it in the next 45 minutes or so as I'm leaving the house at quarter past.

JUST CALL THE DAMN GAME OFF!
I've just had two fence panels, totally intact, get lifted straight out of their posts and get flung 20 ft or more into the field behind me. No joke!

It seems like it is really bad NOW, but I guess the question is will it stop later (although that would give the fans a small amount of time to get to the game).

They should've called it off at least an hour ago. Time is of the essence.

Just got in from work, traffic is horrendous and we've got a tree down in our street, blocking half the road! Didn't realise how bad it was until I got out of my car,I'll be surprised if the game is on and I'm seriously considering giving it a miss

Problem now in King St, Longton.
I've just lost a fence panel and at the front a wheelie bin has gone bouncing along the road and hit a parked car.

Crewe train station now closed due to wind The game must be called off now, surely. I have an approx 1 hour drive from Loughborough, but pretty sure I am going to give it a miss now, reading some of the reports on here.

Im more surprised Everton haven't said anything either, especially as the motorway being closed will affect Palace fans.
They will wait on the basis that Swansea have already set off I guess

Makes no sense this going ahead. Why put travelling fans at risk, and for what... Another toss weather-affected match where the standard of football is non-existent... I guess the Premier League/Television stops at nothing to make a buck regardless of the safety of its fans

My usual 15 minute drive home from Stoke to Newcastle took 45 minutes tonite...mega traffic and several trees down causing huge problems.Would be amazed if the game goes ahead...big risk to public safety and the game would be a farce in my opinion.

The only thing it will affect is the fans getting to the ground. They didn't stop in torrential rain and horrific snow so I really doubt they will call it off... Depends on what they think merits calling off the game.

Normally hate the thought of a game being called off but its going be ridiculous tonight. How is a game of football meant to happen in this weather.
