If this game goes ahead are stoke going to offer refunds for the thousands who simply can't make it because of the weather, train lines being down and police warnings?? Doubt it Why would they? When Stoke City makes a transaction with a customer, the club is not responsible for anything else than delivering the "product" that the ticket is worth. If they decide to go on with the match, no one can demand any refunds from the club due to not being able to make it to the Brit. So basically it's a take the money and bollocks to the safety of the supporter thing? Ahh I see

Manchester is a much bigger city, which will be much more congested.
Makes sense to call theirs off.
Our game should be fine.
The traffic will all be gone in half an hour.

I kind of hope the game goes ahead. I've been sat in the Fenton retail park for some time awaiting the announcement. I don't usually get to go to games these days with me working Saturdays so this is something of a rare treat now. Though I can understand others who don't want to risk it.

Just rang the club. Match is still on at the moment. Debating on whether or not to set off from south Manchester. Cant see it being on going off what's been said about the conditions on this thread so far. Stay at home mate. They'll call it off when you're halfway there. Ive sacked it off and am now home. I'm amazed they were even doing the wind tests at the ground. This isn't about the football, this is about the safety of the fans getting to the stadium. Haven't they read the news and travel updates??? Fucking ridiculous if this goes ahead.

Time for Scholes to be sacked. Apparently it was Greater Manchester Police who stepped in and called the Citeh v Sunderland game off due to concerns about public safety/access. However we've got Staffordshire Police telling people on Radio Stoke not to travel unless it's absolutely essential to but yet they're also happy for the match to go ahead? An utter farce.

Seriously fucked off with club. I live in Wolverhampton and waiting for decision since 6.20. It's now effectively too late to set off, even if I want to risk life and limb on the roads.
