No doubt the club have an insurance policy which they can only claim if someone official calls the game off.
What a poor show.
I think I'm going to give this a miss.

The A500 is shut, traffic chaos, tree's down and hundreds of homes without power and football goes on. Stay safe Stokies, I'm going no-where near.

If this game goes ahead are stoke going to offer refunds for the thousands who simply can't make it because of the weather, train lines being down and police warnings?? Doubt it

Why don't you go home, tell your family that you love them, hold them close to your bosom and pray for deliverance from 'WINDAGEDDON!' Feel the Lords vengeful breath as it tears your garden fence asunder! REPENT! REPENT!

So they're still inspecting the pitch, what for? I will hazard a guess that the pitch is in perfect condition. The weather and the traffic however is not. Jeez. I'm setting off anyway, in a Wizard Of Oz stylee.

If the game is called off will the lads still end up flying out for warm weather training, surely a reason to get the match played?

If this game goes ahead are stoke going to offer refunds for the thousands who simply can't make it because of the weather, train lines being down and police warnings?? Doubt it Why would they? When Stoke City makes a transaction with a customer, the club is not responsible for anything else than delivering the "product" that the ticket is worth. If they decide to go on with the match, no one can demand any refunds from the club due to not being able to make it to the Brit.

Man City's game has been called off.
Comparing the pics of their corner flags to ours, and even advertisement hoardings being blown over (none at the Etihad), the conditions at the Etihad are far better than at The Brit.
