Getting bored of this piss weak "well he won us points away at West Ham" argument.
His free kick, earning us an extra two points, away at West Ham was the only meaningful contribution he'd made in the last two years. Those two points were then wiped out by him when he decided to, not once, but twice attempt to boot an Everton player up in the air whilst in the penalty area when he going absolutely anywhere! Therefore, he's added nothing this season, absolutely zero.
Sadly, it isn't the 2010/11 season anymore and it was time to go. He simply doesn't add anything to the squad, not even as a backup, as we found out to our detriment against Everton.
I'll remember him for the good times and he's a part of modern day folklore as he was a part of our first ever FA Cup Final starting eleven, and was also part of that utterly beautiful day where we demolished Bolton 5-0. Cheers for the good times, you massive waste of talent.

If that's official, then it didn't seem too hard did it?
So surely we can wield the same broom on the other squad loiterers sharpish?
Complete waste of £ & a squad place this last time round.
Prefer to think it frees a spot for an incoming.
Equally, the thought of Shotts on the wing.... ![:-S](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kdD1n42dnzYd3v59eUB_.gif)

Excellent. No competition at all for SJW plodding down the right now.[/ There wasn't any competition anyway! Pennants a fool, wasted away his talent.

The only downside to this is we have lost one of our songs from our very limited repertoire

There will be many a fan upset about this never mind they can still clutch at the fact its Pulis's fault for wrecking his career. There's only one person to blame for wrecking Pennants career and I think you'll find it's himself !

"According to SL&P".
I know it may take some time, but let me know when there's an official word on this.

Why he was re signed I'll never understand it! Should have just stuck with the plan and got rid. That bullshit of "don't want him to go to a team and him playing against us"

Still a better option than our current right sided winger. One moment of madness doesn't change that.

It's a shame the guy has talent.
But in all honesty his tenure at the club is going nowhere, so good luck fella.

Still a better option than our current right sided winger. One moment of madness doesn't change that. That's bollocks I'm afraid. He couldnt even get in a relegated Wolves side in the championship last season. More fool us for offering him another contract. It's always someone else's fault with him. Loads of mouth before the season started with nout to back it up. There is obviously something about him that Hughes really dislikes. Tom Ince anyone? 6 months too late. We should have signed him in the summer instead of taking this waster back on.

To be fair to him he always made an effort to be interviewed by TC on matchdays, but from a playing point of view his best days were over and I was surprised MH offered a full 12 months.

If true it frees-up a squad place. Does it mean a permanent signing is imminent? probably didn't cost too much in severance pay, as he's out of contract again in the summer.
