I think Palacios has warranted his place in the side by the sound of it & Saturdays performance, just Walters to go now ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/KYqg3pYeaerc5lD_P7BR.gif)

Sack them and play who? I'm sure if we had a team of stars they wouldn't be near the first team - like pennant, wilko, ringtone, jones to name but a few. They are average Prem players, we are a average Prem team (at best)

I can't even remember Marc Wilson getting stick once on here before this season. Let alone getting a thread of his own.
But, for some reason, I've both heard and read people saying "I always said he was shite" numerous times since the managerial change. How come?

The question is: Was that only a coincidence or is he just having a hard time getting his head down at the moment? Whatever it may be - Les should keep putting him on the bench (or out of the full 18 even), and at the moment there are currently two players who I'd pick before him at his old left back spot. Not that easy being Marc Wilson right now.

So Pulis is as guilty as you're making everyone else out to be for 'thinking he's a midfielder'. He signed him to be one.

But with all seriousness on this, I called it from his debut and always hoped that I was wrong. You can still the glimmer that I still hold on to in that thread. That's gone. He's had his second chance and completely cocked it up, making the same mistakes. It's time to be ruthless imo.

Doesn't say much for our scouting if we're committing to midfielders we suddenly realise can't play there?

He did but TP's record when it comes to signing central midfielders has been pretty shocking and this just backs that up. I think since we signed Diao, we've had Delap, Whelan, Faye (for half a season) and N'Zonzi who are the only ones I've not thought have been pretty useless. And on 4 of them, lots would disagree! It was a weak area for him, it didn't need to be a strong point...lets be honest. And the current crop are a continuation of that and they need to be changed.

The prem is not a place for experiments especially when they have already been experimented.

Really, Rob? You'd call the ginger-one a player? He had his moments for us when he was given the chance, even if he ultimately blew it big time. Yes, mate, only joking though. But do you really think Marc was just a "bang average" fullback when he was at his best for us? Not sure I agree with you on that one. Sure, he was never the kind of fullback who supported the attacks by overlapping the winger - hugging the sidelines. But, he very rarely let anyone go past him when in form. He had his "fake-cross-dribble" that always did the job. He kept on feeding the forwards with good crosses from the back. In my opinion, at his best, Marc Wilson was more than just a "bang average fullback" for us.
