Can I request a listen to what everyone is liking at the moment? Please stick a link to sites that have some tunes on, to make it easy for lazy folk like me to investigate. It might take a minute or two extra but it'll be worth it in the long run. Karma for anyone who suggests some good stuff, if that's the kind of thing that you bother about. Anyway, here's some of what I'm listening to... AUTUMNS GREY SOLACE Shittest name for a band ever, but they sound like the Cocteau Twins (in a potential-lawsuit kind of way too) with a bit of the cranes thrown in. God I miss the Cocteau Twins. www.myspace.com/autumnsgreysolace BILGE PUMPWe played with these fellas at a wrongpop night last year, and thought they were great. They sound like the sonic equivalent of someone tipping a jigsaw out of it's box outside...in high winds. www.myspace.com/bilgepump BELLADONNAClassy ladies with bleeps, beats and a dirty-PJ harvey vibe. Actually, they're from Darlington. Forget the "Classy" bit. Probably my favourite band in the world. www.myspace.com/wearebelladonna HERZOGABest band in Stoke? I reckon so anyway. Remind of a band called "Cable" who I used to be into back in the day. www.myspace.com/herzogaband THE FALLNeed no-introduction to most, but if you've never heard any Fall stuff you really don't deserve to be alive. New album out next week too. Gooooaaaarrn. www.myspace.com/fallthe Think that'll do for now...

this week i is mostly been listening to otis reading, the o'jays, kilburn and the highroads and tv on the radio. next week i is thinking - richard hell and the viodoids, the rapture, blackstar and maybe a little marvin gaye. i wont be listening to the young knives as they are a bunch of posh cambridge twat-bags and i have believe in a thing called taste!
