I was not aware when i was young (late 60`s, 70`s) that there was any other option, everyone i new supported Stoke, Dad, Grandad, mates, School teachers, it was the done thing.

I was born in Stoke and lived there till i was about 4, my elder brother was born in Dingleland and supported the Dingles. So when i was about 6 or so I enquired as to where I was born and thus became a Stokie. Have had a bellyful of jaunts from the local Palarse/Arse fans etc, but not for much longer. Gooaarrnn Stoke!

..........can't be because I'm a gloryhunter!!
Simple reason - if you're from Stoke, you support Stoke City......OR (if deluded) Port Vale...........but never, ever ANY of the so-called glamour clubs.

Because my dad was and his dad was. I bet my dad thought that when he had two daughters he'd miss out on going to the football with his sons, what he's actually raised though is a daughter who's as mad about stoke as any son could have been.

Im from down South, not my choice, but me old man and his old man are Stokies, I followed the tradition from the age of about 7, my first match Stoke v Fail at the Vic, what a day that was. Never looked back since, I am and will always be forever a Stokie. Hey I may not live in Gods Land itself, but I love my Potters!!
GOARNNNNNNNN STOKE!!

first game aged 5.... even goin the Anglo- Italian cup ties..... loved every minute... my dad couldnt shut me up as a youngster, cus i used to stand there with my squeeky voice shouting to the oposition fans.... 'down with the Vale, your goin down with Vale, down with the Vale....'
stood me in good stead my fellow Stokies... which brings me to this point in time...
which is in my lifetime - the highest achievement so far....... im so numb at the momet, dont want to work... jus want Saturday to come......
i Live for Stoke City.....
Its a Way Of Life.....
