Appeal verdict expected later this week.Lawyers for Blatter have indicated they expect to discover the verdict later this week. If the appeals fail, both men are expected to take their fight to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The FIFA appeals committee, which is chaired by Larry Mussenden, the president of the Bermuda Football Association, has the power to reduce, increase or overturn the bans imposed in December.
So it may not be over even after this charade.

I posted a couple of weeks or so about FIFA investigating him over the 2006 world cup, looks like they have brushed it under the carpet, unless the FBI or german tax people have something on him

German authorities would have to be very careful about reprimanding the kaiser.

I posted a couple of weeks or so about FIFA investigating him over the 2006 world cup, looks like they have brushed it under the carpet, unless the FBI or german tax people have something on him I’m sure I read somewhere that they’re not interested in 98, 02 or 06 just 2010 and maybe 2014. I’ve also read that the higher levels of the American government are wary of exposing 2018 because they’re afraid that Putin might become even more unstable, and they don’t want to piss the Qataris off by going after 2022 because of the wealth they are investing in the States. So they’ll expose corruption only up to the point that it threatens their national interests.

German authorities would have to be very careful about reprimanding the kaiser. It looks like he got fined for not co-operating in the first place, although he did do so at a later date. I think he acted like he usually does, a typical "ahem" German who gets upset if his integrity is called into question..... I react very similar ha ha. No evidence has been proven, hence why I believe he has not been charged with anything. although I'd admit that 2006 is may not be as "clean" as it should have been.

The root of which has never been fully explained.

Apart from money why don't we just say QUATAR WE ARE NOT COMING ?
Any other responsible association's are free to follow our lead.
I certainly will not be paying any TV fees to watch this utter disgrace.

England taking action alone will be useless and it would be a laughing stock. Rolling snowballs can start avelanches. That's true. But if this avalanche gathers moss it won't be England to cast the first line. England isn't in a strong position to initiate something like this. It has to be collective.

England taking actIon alone would be courageous and make me feel proud to be English for the first time in a while. So what if no one else follows. We were humiliated already in the bidding process. Sometimes you just have to do what is right.

Sometimes you just have to do what is right. Being marginalized does no goodfor anyone. It is particularly damaging to the cause. Other nations could act alone to persuade others to follow but not England.

The FBI need to uncover evidence of corruption in the bidding process in particular for the Qatar bid . It could all unravel pretty quickly .

The FBI need to uncover evidence of corruption in the bidding process in particular for the Qatar bid . It could all unravel pretty quickly . I'm not sure it will though. Allegations have been around for five years. Nothings happened. Arrests have been made and very prominent people banned from the game. Nothing's happened.

Sepp Blatter says 'you cannot buy a World Cup' Former Fifa president Sepp Blatter has insisted the vote to host the 2022 World Cup was not fixed, saying: "You cannot buy a World Cup."Blatter said: "You cannot buy a World Cup, it will go at the end where the higher political influences are. "For 2022, Platini at least had the courtesy to phone me and say, 'now we have had a meeting with the head of state and if the head of state is asking me to support France for different reasons then I will'. He said 'my vote will not be for the Americans'.He said: "I have killed nobody, I have not robbed a bank, I have not taken any money from anywhere and I was even treating well all my ex-girlfriends. "It's true. They defend me. One I was married to only for a few months and she is really defending me."Wriggling like a worm on a hook.

I thought it was FIFA that are the laughing stock They remain as powerful as ever. The election won't change that either. But they are not They are under the spotlight and they are about to change their ways FIFA will change and so may EUFA European football is where it's at, and it would only take a few associations to break away to start a new format Just like a few teams in the now called Premier League did As we know, it's all about who controls the money And 2 European chumps should have known better, Blatter and Platini, I'll pay you so much for so little and we won't keep records I'm sure various tax offices around the world are more than interested

Well they would all be together in the same city. The first arrests were made in the week of the first election. I am sure some delegates are brisking it dead bad.

So they’ll expose corruption only up to the point that it threatens their national interests. What bollox! How do you know? I didn’t say it was a fact I said that I’d read it!!!!!!! "An intriguing rumour doing the rounds is that Loretta Lynch, the pugnacious US attorney general who went to war with Fifa, is coming under political pressure to ease off. The theory is that any unfortunate discovery around the 2018 World Cup bid would start a clamour for Russia to be stripped and therefore complicate the geopolitical picture, particularly in Syria – just as there is no political will to take 2022 away from Qatar while the Qataris are gushing sovereign wealth into western economies." Try it reading properly instead of jumping to the conclusion that I was stating a fact, idiot. www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/fifa/12160384/Fifa-presidential-election-is-beyond-a-joke-abolition-is-the-only-solution-to-their-game-of-thrones.html
