Surprise surprise it has been reported that the is no paperwork whatsoever in regards to platinis consultancy to Fifa With a bit of luck this corrupt cunts career finished too Both Platini and Blatter are believed to have told investigators the additional payment was an oral agreement for SFr 0.5m to be paid for each of the four years (January 1999 to June 2002) the Uefa president was employed by Fifa.
So that's all right then, they had a verbal agreement. For a minute I thought there was no agreement, phew.

It just shows how thick the FA are to support Platini.
It was clear he would be up to his neck in it and they still back him so publicly.
Absolute clowns.

It's so unbelievably naive. Even without his obvious Qatar links you'd be suspicious about him. With them, he's probably dodgier than Blatter!

According to the BBC Blatter is appealing his suspension, the man knows no shame, he is forlornly clutching at straws. He signed millions of £'s away in a TV giveaway. He orchestrated an unplayable summer World Cup, but his worst crime is doing all he could to scupper England's plans to be hosts. Is it still legal to burn witches in Switzerland? Blatter appealsSurely he should get a 30% extension for a spurious appeal..?

The verbal agreement was diaorhea, it was too sloppy to be bound into a contract Payment was made once Qatar got given the world cup, the week before the vote Platini was dining with a Prince of Qatar, wonder how long ago the pair of them were tapped up by Qatar and had an eye on their pension pots ?

UEFA have a crisis meeting Thursday with all 54 members represented. Wil Platini ask for Dyke to be a character witness type of thing?

I presume Platini can't attend as he is banned from ALL involvement in football for 90 days! I'm delighted to see that there appears to have been no written contract for the payment of over £1 million which Blatter paid to Platini. Just how divorced from reality (or alternatively, how corrupt?) do you have to be, to not bother with a written contract for sums of that size? Hopefully Platini never declared it for tax - that would be the icing on the cake.

Sadly, he's not universally hated or he wouldn't have been re-elected so many times. Anyway, the chickens appear to be finally coming home to roost. I wonder what Swiss prisons are like. US Federal prison range from country-club like to fairly grim. The one in Leavenworth, Kansas is particularly miserable - dates back to the Civil War. Not much heating or cooling - gets to 100 F in summer and -10 F in the winter. Should suit him nicely.

A colleague was telling me about being given the job of Health & Safety officer with Atos. He pointed out that due to the type of blinds they had on the windows, they were causing unnecessary glare on computer screens. So they got rid of him

It really is dispicable, he is an old fool power hungary and just greedy, just go enjoy your old age retirement already, he has pretty much gotten away with all his corrupt dealings anyway
the worst thats going to happen is he will just quit or be fire from fifa and never be heard from again as he lives the rest of his life in luxury

FA suspends support for Michel Platini's president bid An FA statement read: "The FA wishes Mr Platini every success in fighting these charges and clearing his name, and has no interest in taking any action that jeopardises this process. However, notwithstanding the above, at the Uefa meeting on Thursday, the FA learned more information relating to the issues at the centre of this case from Mr Platini's lawyers. "We have been instructed that the information must be kept confidential and therefore we cannot go into specifics. "As a result of learning this information, the FA Board has this morning concluded that it must suspend its support for Mr Platini's candidature for the Fifa presidency until the legal process has been concluded and the position is clear. "A decision can then be taken on who to support in the presidential election on 26 February 2016."Why a change of heart
