[SLIGHT SPOILER]
What an end! It's a shame it's over but that final episode was fantastic. I really wanted Gretchen and Elliot to die though. Having said that, the 'hit-men' idea was a great laugh.

I stayed up til almost 4 am this morning (despite having a 9am class) just to watch it.
It was well worth it. Poor Todd.

Great ending, think they pretty much got it spot on. Song choice at the end was excellent as well.
With Homeland & Walking Dead due to start in the coming weeks as well to fill the void left by Breaking Bad I don't feel to bad about it ending haha!

I didn't quite understand why the Nazis hadn't appeared to have spent any of the $80 million (or whatever it was) they had in cash.
Why were they still living in a shit hole, cooking meth when they already had more cash than they could ever possibly hope to spend?
Maybe I'm missing something?

I'd assume it was because of the same reason that Walter didn't spend all of the money. It'd be a bit fishy if all of a sudden a poor family were able to buy a couple of million dollars worth of property :).

If you've already got $80 million in cash that you can't spend, why risk getting caught cooking even more meth just to make a few dollars more (that you can't spend either)?

Todd persuaded them to keep Jessie and use up the methylamine, they still had some left, so it makes sense that they finish the job before they used the money. Not that they would have a clue on how to spend it without getting caught.

Not that they would have a clue on how to spend it without getting caught. I don't think it's makes sense at all. If you've got THAT much cash, then the priority becomes protecting your liberty in the hope that you're going to be able to spend it at some point.

I think that Breaking Bad is the best ever series for quality of writing, acting and sustained tension.
"Deadwood" re-running again from series 1 on CBS action this week. Not quite BB but pretty damn good.

Come on guys – the reason they kept cooking the Meth was because Todd liked the girl. Can’t you remember his uncle & co taking the piss out of him?
Now, the bit where I am thick … that powder Walt put into that woman’s drink that made her feel ill … was that a killer powder?

Yes it was, although it was a bit of a stretch to believe he managed to put the ricin into her sugar sachet without her noticing that it had been tampered with.

Did she not always sit in the same seat and meet at the same time and Walt was there first? A little bit of Pritt Stick on an opened sachet and done

Now, the bit where I am thick … that powder Walt put into that woman’s drink that made her feel ill … was that a killer powder? It was Ricin, the same poison used to poison Brook in an earlier series (the young lad). He made it from some flower seeds of some sort, had some left and kept it behind a plug socket in his house. We saw him collecting it in full in episode 9 and again in brief on the last episode.

Jesse took out his pack of cigarettes when he was at the hospital with Brock and noticed there was no ricin cigarette so presumed it had to have been the ricin that had poisoned him. At the end of the episode they zoomed in on Walt's Lily of the Valley plant which he knew would put him in hospital but wouldn't kill him. Walt's a clever guy.

For those wanting to catch up on this programme it can be found on this amazing app : show-box.meYou'll thank me later ;p But will we? It's one thing downloading a torrent on your PC, it's quite another sideloading an app to a device that holds such personal and valuable data. I'm not saying the app is malware, but it would be a good way for someone to gain access to your phone.

One of my boys downloaded a load of Minecraft apps on his phone and ended up with a load of Chinese adverts popping up all over the place. I deleted them all but they still appeared so I had to wipe his device to get rid of them.
The app had access to the phone dialer, but it could not use it because I had previously removed it by extracting the dialer app from the ROM before flashing. (My lad is too young to be trusted with a fully functional phone yet). This meant that the dodgy app could not send out messages or dial premium rate numbers.
I repeat, that app may not be malicious, but there are malicious apps out there, granted there are not many and they are not very sophisticated, but sideloading is by far the best way to get malicious code on your device.
We are adults and we can make our own choices, I believe that people need to understand the risks first.

And you thought that was a good enough explanation? They had already got more money than they were ever going to be able to spend, why risk your liberty, trying to get a tiny little bit more and/or because Todd liked Lydia? I also think the end of the episode where Jessie all of a sudden put all the dots together and realised what had happened with the switch of the ricin cigarette was a massive leap to expect the viewer to make. Great tv show but far from being up there with the best imo.
