Thank god there is now only one episode left to go, I don't think I've ever wanted a tv series to end so much.
LGH87: I think it would be wrong to offer suggestions on how it's all going to pan out on Sunday, without spewing a whole load of spoilers onto this thread.
EDIT: Oh and an absolutely brilliant, indeed spectacular show that went under most people's radars is 'Rubicon' but don't blame me if you start watching it and then find that AMC cancelled it after season one - stupid fuckwits!

The title of the thread does say Breaking Bad New Episode though, so I'm hoping anybody who is not up to speed would steer clear in case of such spoilers

Maybe you could change the title of the thread to say that thread includes spoilers then, just in case.
I'd feel loads more comfortable discussing the possible outcomes if you did.

How can people guessing what's going to happen be a spoiler? It's like avoiding the 'predict the score' threads as somebody might get it right and ruin it for you

Erm because you'd need to discuss what HAS happened in order to legitimise your thoughts on what might happen ...

The Walking Dead is excellent mate. There's only one other thing that comes close to BB and that's The Wire.....download it, and I promise you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the recommendation, I have season 1 of The Wire downloading at the minute. Please let it be nearly as good as BB ( fingers crossed )

On a serious note - will the final episode be feature length or just the norm?

Nope, you've completely lost me Beardy.
Don't bother explaining though ...
EDIT: The final episode is slated to be normal length.

Listen you lot, can you please just avoid any talk of last weeks episode as i'm having major Mac issues at the moment. I'm having to do everything on this piddly little iPad. It's driving me nuts, and i've waited 12 months for these final concluding episodes to air....
So NO SPOILERS please!
Sorry for crying.

If the OP would change the title to say that the thread now includes spoilers, then I'd love to have a good natter about what I think is going to happen.

If the OP would change the title to say that the thread now includes spoilers, then I'd love to have a good natter about what I think is going to happen. Sorted......now what's your theory! Good man. Whilst I think BB is certainly one of the greatest tv shows ever, it's far from being up there with very, very best imho. The problem I've had with it from the beginning is that now and then they seem to be writing it as they go along and require the viewer to make some pretty big leaps at times. I said to my wife whilst we were watching season three, that it felt like they were writing it on the hoof and low behold Gilligan has since revealed that they did in fact start shooting season three before they'd finished writing it! This final season has had me rolling my eyes at time - I thought Jessie's sudden realisation of what happened with the switch of the ricin in the cigarette packet and how it was actually Walter who poisoned Brock was one helluva leap for the viewer to make and Todd's execution of Andrea was just cheap writing for me ... For the last episode the writer has got to get Walter and Jessie together for one last final act of tag work (to attack the Nazis), so what could they think of that could possibly reunite them (even though Jessie hates every fibre of Walt's soul)? I know we'll have Todd murder Andrea in cold blood - it just seems a bit of a cop out to me. Of course the writers have known for a year what the likely outcome will be because we saw Walter in the diner on his 52nd birthday (which will turn out to be the final episode it seems) over a year ago but still, I think they could have done better with the penultimate episode. How will it turn out? Is the ricin actually for Gretchen and Elliot? Of course Walt and Jessie are going to up against the Nazis. I doubt very many people are going to be left alive. I hope Walt ultimately gets Skyler off the hook and in one last act of defiance he ends up using the ricin on himself in his prison cell.

I hope skylar, her son and her sister all get the ricin while walt, jessie and saul ride off into the sunset ready to do things properly without all the whining maggots getting in the way. I appreciate that's unlikely

Anything happen I should be reminded of? At the start of episode one of the final season (first half) which was broadcast last year, Walter is seen in a diner marking out his 52nd birthday with strips of bacon on his breakfast plate. We don't actually find out that that is a White family tradition until later in the season however. He is then seen taking delivery of an M60 in the boot of a car. Obviously as we haven't seen the outcome of this scene (although we have seen another flash forward from presumably the same day where he goes back to the house to get the ricin), then I think it's safe to assume that these scenes are going to be part(s) of the day of the final episode. Therefore the writers (I guess) knew twelve months ago, that Walt was going to be using some pretty heavy hardware at the finale of the series (presumably against the Nazis).

Thanks for that mate. EDIT - just watched that bit again so i'm up to speed. So it looks like his business with the gun might be a 30 hour drive away? Todd's gang aren't that far away and not sure Elliot has been a big enough part to be involved in a final showdown. I think he's been thrown in as a curveball and a way to show Walt's life is over and he hasn't got any credit from his family or his peers, basically it's been a waste. So i'll go for Gretchin as he might see taking out a large drug cartel as being some final way of justifying his life. Probably bollocks though.

Don't open the thread then dick 'ed Whatever.... It was just a joke. I feel a bit gay having to put winks but they're the biggest clue i can give you However, if you want to push it further - if somebody was watching a series, have fallen a couple of episodes behind and are desperate not to know what's happened, why the fuck would they go on a thread clearly marked with the name of said series? Do you have any other lack of self control or overly excitable issues we should know about **************
