Not Diouf, Coates has only just come out and confirmed interest. He wouldn't make himself look stupid and announce the signing not long after saying they've registered an interest surely? He's said we've not been interested in the past then shortly after signed the player. Coates isn't a media man, he's useless in front of the camera.

Or maybe he's not directly giving the big news but knows the club maybe announcing something officially.

Fair enough. That is very good. Guardian from JanuaryAt a recent meeting of all 20 Premier League clubs, Stoke City suggested offering free coach travel to all away fans in the Premier League to cut down on costs for travelling fans. The Stoke chief executive, Tony Scholes, also put forward an alternative suggestion: that away ticket prices should never be more expensive than the cheapest home ticket.

I won't be using the official coaches but for fans who struggle to get to games then this is a really good incentive it won't look to bad when arsenal charge 50 quid a ticket but you get your travel chucked in

Just given me the incentive to buy a platinum membership! Quality news that is, especially now we've got a manager who will try to win away from home!!

Can't grumble at that. It won't be for everyone but it'll be fantastic news for many, travel isn't cheap in this day & age. Stokies are lucky in terms of location, the likes of Newcastle, Sunderland, Swansea have to travel 400+ miles for the majority of their games.

Big pat on the back. This kind offer shows what a benefit it is to have a chairman who's local and cares about the working man. Well done theCoates family

I know you're joking, but you've hit on a truth. There is a great deal of evidence that meaningful corporate social responsibility (i.e. being nice) is better for the bottom line as positive customer sentiment translates to more sales and at reduced marketing cost. *falls to floor, snoring*
