I went my first "proper" cricket game the other month. It was a 20/20, Notts vs Lancs at Trent Bridge, I aren't a massive 20/20 fan but it was enjoyable it has to be said. Hales hit 86ish and seeing fat Sam(it) fielding was hilarious.

I know you can get drawn in , I have been to one or two at Old Trafford in the past ( not for some years though ) I think the tempo of them has changed since I went last, what with all these new shots like the ramp and the like

10 an over = 200 and sometimes even that isn't anywhere near enough? I remember the John Player league on a Sunday afternoon when I was a kid. 220 off 40 overs was going some in those days?

There were a lot more draws in those days though, which was a drag?

I suppose it depends on how Finch plays? 15 for 2 after 3 overs is a good start though.

How did Hales deal with getting out on 94? When I watched him for Notts he went mental when he got out in the 80's. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif)

But maybe that pressure isn't helping him when it comes to actually getting it?

Hales looked very composed today, not easy in T20 when you're trying to knock the skin off the ball most of the time? Lumb and Wright looked goo too and Dernbach on a hatrick? One dayers next!

He did , I think he has a little more about him than just being labelled a 20 over player . I'm looking forward to the one dayers the last swallows of a good summer of Cricket
