What happened to the rest of the Pig? Will we get to see it running around St Mary's tomorrow? It'll be a miracle if it scores with a header.
Suitable punishments for the offenders should include. Nakedness and being chained to the crossbar followed by...

Ribery wasn't thinking about his religion when he was shagging under age prostitutes! I love that people keep using that line. Muslims and underage girls go together like pork and apple sauce. Rochdale and Oxford anyone?

That's the thing though Beardy ... have you watched SSN tonight or listened to any of the phone ins? Nobody is focussing on the car, it's ALL about the pig. If a pig had turned up in the Anfield dressing room, or the Stamford Bridge dressing room, or the Old Trafford dressing room, it would have still been a massive story even WITHOUT a car window being put through. This story isn't about Kenwyne reaction, it's about a pigs head being put in a top pro's locker. Paul, I've not listened to any phone-ins, but I'd say without Kenwyne's reaction a journalist has a story about dickhead footballers being dickheads. With Kenwyne's reaction, a journalist has a story about scumbag footballers attacking a player for his religious beliefs. All judgements aside regarding who has done what, if Kenwyne Jones laughs it off and goes home, the media has very little to work with, and the talk show hosts are dealing with a minor incident. I'm not trying to defend anyone but, from a PR perspective, Kenwyne's reaction transformed a story about banter into a story about bullying. As I've already said mate, I DON'T KNOW what Kenwyne Jones' religous beliefs are, so I'm not about to start pontificating about what he should or shouldn't have done. That's not a defence of him, I'm just not going to judge the guy, when I'm not armed with the facts. Maybe Kenwyne felt he was being bullied, maybe he was being a mardarse, we simply don't know.

My thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult time.

The prank itself was kind of funny, if maybe a little bit too far. The problem is I've already seen a couple of articles saying it was racially motivated. We don't want that kind of press.

It is just sick, childish behaviour by morons with too much time on their hands and is so un-funny it's beyond belief but Kenwyne's reaction is way, way over the top especially as it appears (from the report in The Times)that it was put in his locker by mistake. The article also suggests Jones is a Christian not a Muslim which makes his over-reaction even more bizarre. Where the fuck was any grown up when all this was going on.

The pig was put in KJ's locker and the story is fabricated to say it was an error. If anyone thinks it was done hoping KJ would open his locker, jump in the air in shock, turn around and see his 'work mates' and say "aaaaah, you guys kill me man you really do!" at which point everyone bumps chests and fists, have big Hetero bonding hugs leading the eventual closer team spirit, winning more games etc...
Bollocks. It was bullying.
Cue: fuck off / grow up youth / PC gone mad / etc.

Anybody read the recent story about Frank Ribery? One of his te mates decided to celebrate winning the title by drowning him in beer ( not literally ) being a devout Muslim Ribery took great offence and has vowed never to speak to the player again. The player in question knew of Riberys beliefs so why hasnt this recieved as much news coverage as pig gate? I'm my opinion they are both non events, people trying to be precious over the crock of shit that is religion, Ribery wasn't thinking about his religion when he was shagging under age prostitutes! What people get offended over is wildly open to interpretation. If someone called you a stupid cunt you'd probably be more offended than if they called you a dafthead, but both can be broken down as [claim of unintelligence] + [body part]. Same thing no? But you wouldnt expect them both to be interpreted the same way. If anyone should know to be careful about what can set someone off, especially if they've already said to leave them out of it all, surely its Glenn "flip flops" Whelan

You don't ask someone not to do something in that environment. It's like a red rag to a bull. This whole episode for me has just highlighted why I've found it so hard to warm to KJ over his time here.

Mentioning it makes You a target. I think telling them not to do stuff is stupid, yes. It is wrong but more than not that's what happens, not to realise that is daft.

I find it hard to say without knowing what the dynamics are actually like in there. Did Whelan specifically ask people not to wear flip flops while warming up which was a red rag to Abdoulaye? Pulis definitely told people not to plan an xmas party which was a red rag to Beattie ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif) It depends how matey they are, or if there are any factions in there, which with our selection policy I can believe. At the same time, after he's told em to leave him out of it (rightly/wrongly), surely after so long they'd be able to judge if Kenneth would take it and sulk or whether he'd go +1 on the pigshead. If the rumours were different, that Jones was smiling and laughing as he put Whelans window through, telling him "I warned you not to fuck with me, hahahahha", would it make any difference? Its not like the cost of a windowscreen is significant to any of em, and itd be hard for Whelan to get precious about it after he's taken it to the pighead level. All in all I just want summer to come and quickly!

And not from a racial/religious point but just because he seems such a moody, miserable sort. And yes, if it was done as a joke, it's extreme like the pig's head but I could live with that because I think in that environment it's within the boundaries. My boundaries clearly are bigger than some though.
