Hi Den, long time no speak. Good luck with the new season, what do you think your chances are this season, especially in the champions league? Do you think Kyiv have a good chance of getting through the qualifying rounds this year?

Hi, Rob!! Great to see you here! It s ok in Kyiv! July 31th Dynamo should play Feyenoord in Champions Cup 3rd round! Likewise, I will be following the games for Dynamo in Europe this season, last year was a fantastic adventure for us and one we hope we can repeat soon. But Kyiv above all, will always hold a special fond memory and for that reason I will be cheering for you in the Europeans this year. Good to hear from you as always Den. |

Thanks!! I ve just written my opinion in "POPOV"-thread. Not bad player, though he makes too many mistakes & fouls too often, I think. But he works hard, has great experience & tries to play better. And - sure - he has a huge THROW!!!! I am really glad a player from Dynamo went to Stoke!! Funny!! Another link between our clubs & cities!! |

I watched most of the game on TV, whilst Borussia had most of the posession, Kyiv had far more quality, and looked like scoring every time they got near the goal. Sure, we are much more "hungry" for big wins than you.
Though, England has a lot to prove, too. Great football country without titles for such a long time? I am sure England needs them as much as we do!!
On the other hand, I realise that Ukraine has to prove that we CAN play & win vs such top-teams as England.

I think we have very good chances to qualify. Porto & PSG look equal to us & Zagreb is really not so strong (with all my respect). So, IF Dynamo plays good - why not?! |

The 24 year old Dutch international Gregory van der Wiel, joins Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lucas Moura, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Silva and Marco Verratti, taking PSG side’s summer spending up to around £120m.
I think PSG will be pretty decent, Porto losing Hulk may be good news for you

Big names in PSG, no doubt. But they need time to become a TEAM, maybe?..
Porto has lost Hulk, but still is a very good team!
Anyway, everything should be decided on the field.
No top-team (Barca, Real, Bayern) in our group. Looks rather equal.
I wouldn t say that it will be easy to get 3 points in Zagreb, by the way!
