What a day!!! Good morning, Stokies!!! It was something! Thanx to all the guys, who came to Kyiv! We really enjoyed this Kyiv-Stoke party all day long! It was so great to see you! I felt like I know you for years! After all our "oatcake-meetings" Volvic with his friends - hAppy days - good times Robinredcoat - your coat is really red! scousestokie1 & Vicki - the Hudson-shirt is just WOW! Thanx! andystokey - we talked a little, so you should definetly come back! neckendnick - I hope you enjoyed LOTS of pubs on your way Pricey - specialist in Kyiv geography! (I hope you & your mate found Olympic stadium!) Krisstoke - thanx, mate, I m still thinking you should have taken a day-off and join us at the pitch! Lee - the tea was great! & ALL THE GUYS WE VE MET WITH - YOU ARE GREAT! Maybe, sthg went wrong - I m sorry! It was just not enough time to enjoy the communication with all of you (on the other hand, Stoke City should be happy that they have SO many great supporters! I d love to see you, guys, again! & I hope Dynamo & Stoke meet in Europe League final in Bucharest P.S. The supporters match was AMAZING! Great strikes, strong defence, brilliant saves (we had such a great goalkeeper!!!), photos at the pitch & 3-3 at the end with Stoke-side last minute equalize! P.P.S. Later at night our teams (Dynamo & Stoke City) almost repeated our match-scenario, but visa versa Den, I am "Pricey's mate", unfortunately never got to meet up with you. Having a great time here, heading back tomorrow. Thanks for all your help!

Incredible time in Kyiv... & it would be criminal for you not to come here for the Stoke v Dinamo match...
After everything u did for us yesterday, we owe you! & if you can get the time off work, we'll all help you to afford to come here.
For those that don't know, a quick rundown of yesterdays events & what Den did for us guys...
Met us at the airport (holding up a Stoke City badge on our arrival ;D ... Class) Hired us a bus from when we landed until 3pm Took us ona tour of Kyiv Hired a football pitch for the fans game... Which had to be one of the strangest but brilliant experience! Picture yourself playing football v Den & his friends, then picture a mid 50s, overweight, smashed out of her face, abusive Ukranian lady... Giving us all abuse & shouting randomly, then flashing her tits twice in succession ;D ... horrific sight !!!
Thanks for the scarf to Den, love it. Igor drinks to much vodka as well!! Im still hungover thanks to him ;D how we woke up this morning & got to the airport I dont know! Alls I remember is waking up fully clothed with my head burried into thr pillow, & my mate sprawled out also fully clothed & shoes still on ;D
I really want to go back to the lucky bar tonight mate!!! Epic !

Yeah mate, you missed the equalising goal that I set up in the 9th minute of injury time!
3-3... Great game. Dens wife took loads of photos, waiting for him to email them over! Den, Igor & the other guys who came out with us last night & got spectacularly drunk with us are just heros!
I was chatting up one of their girlfreinds & he didnt mind ;D ... I didnt get anywhere, think it was cause I was sweating the local beer & the vodkas Igor insisted on us drinking!
Ahh I miss Kyiv already!

Well the mental old bitch flashing her tits & abusing us made up about 4 minutes worth of injury time...
And Dens wayward shooting (over the fences & into the scrap yard) accounted for the rest! ;D

Manchester is a great city occupied by 2 teams with supporters of the shitest order! Stoke itself is nothing spectacular but there are plenty of older pubs which are good!

Yes I was at Man City - Dynamo last season. Very rude supporters, I was delighted we knocked them out of the cup hehe
A good beer is all that's needed.

Not long since got back and just finished talking the Mrs through the trip (obviously I left out some bits!!!!!!!) ;D
Fabulous time, right from the moment we arrived at heathrow and there were Stokies all around, also that one of the cabin crew spotted our shirts and told me her sister plays for the ladies team.
The time in Kyiv was amazing, I'm really sorry I couldn't stay longer, it was massively enjoyable. Even in the hotel late last night there were some of the other guests coming up talking to us about the game, it was great. And the hotel gave me a free mini-bar!!!!! Oh boy was that well appreciated! ;D
Fab trip, super time in the city and great time at the game.

Den! Sorry I just disappeared. You were being really helpful but I knew where I was going (I'm very good with maps and directions) and needed to try and meet myatt before he left the hostel so I ran off. I spent around 45-60 minutes looking for the bar you were talking about and then gave up. It was hot, I had no phone signal and no way of just randomly finding it so tried to find Lucky bar instead....I couldn't find that either so went to the 24hr supermarket and got some 50p(!) bottles of beer instead. Good game. 1-1 a fair result. Stoke played as expected and I thought your No. 8 was very good. Afterwards I went to Lucky bar with a guy who played in the match (whitmorestokie from here I think) and a couple of others and bumped into your friends who did their best to sing some Dinamo songs, helped out by the likes of Lee and Volvic. I hope the girl that filmed us singing Delilah puts it on the internet somewhere. So, overall, a great few days and I just want to say thanks for making it even better. I nearly missed my flight back (the traffic and those little yellow buses.....crazy) but would have had no idea where I was going if you hadn't have given me all the instructions. The fans game was great and made even better by that insane alcoholic shouting, "you are the shit!" at us from behind the fence. "You are the shit" is actually part of a Stoke City song, I'm not sure if anyone told you. So that was very funny. 3-3, fair result again! As Ben (Volvic) says, if you can find the time to come over for the Stoke/Dinamo game we are more than prepared to help to pay. Did you say you didn't like flying? If so, hopefully our offer to help pay will make you more likely to come over. It would be great and we could have another fans match. Kiev is a fantastic city (I did some sight-seeing before my flight home) and you were a great help. All the stories of the city being dangerous were a load of rubbish as far as I can see and as you pointed out in the last few weeks. Cheers!

Think we met Dens mate who was quality.
Overall what an amazing place and I am gutted to be back home now.
Hope Kiev do really well this season and you never know we might get the chance to come back again

Have you sorted your home leg tickets out yet Ben? I've just got mine in Block 38, Row 32 right by where their fans will be. I'm hoping at least a couple of those lads will come over and then we have banter during as well as before and after. Bread, bread, who will buy my bread? Every bugger in the Ukraine because it cost about 15p a loaf!
