If it was Man Ure playing them then in all honesty I would probably expect a cricket score, but it's not it's us Stoke and in all honesty with the way we've been playing and our wafer thin squad I wouldn't expect more than a 2-0 win at most tbh.

It's only 1 goal. If they have a bit of luck and we have none then who knows!!!
That said I expect us to beat them by two or three.

It is still a tricky position as this tie stands. Our first goal on Thursday wont actually change anything. Yes it will.

Thun were very poor WITH home field advantage. Why does everybody think they will be more dangerous travelling away?

We weren't too impressed with Paddy Power judging us on one match were we?

We weren't too impressed with Paddy Power judging us on one match were we? This Some of you are just being plain arrogant. Hope it doesnt bite us on the arse... Thun are capable of scoring a goal against us - imagine if they score early doors Thursday...

Why is it arrogant? They had everything in their favour in the home leg and couldn't score past us.
At the Brit, we have the advantage. The Stoke players are used to the conditions (unlike in Thun) there is no travelling and acclimatisation required (unlike in Thun) we will hopefully have 20,000+ noisy supporters to help the team (unlike in Thun)

Thun have been a decent side in the past, doing well in the champions league a few years back - didn't see the game last thursday so can only go on what others have been saying.
We could quite easily have a shit ref on thursday who fancies a few red cards and we will be fucked. An early goal for us should open the floodgates.

They may well be a poor team, but as soon as we start to think they're shit, they sneak up on us and we end up behind wondering what the fuck just happened.
Point being, we can't afford to take anyone for granted. We didn't take Chelsea for granted, and they struggled against us. We took Norwich for granted and were lucky to escape with a draw.

If Stoke score first then the tie is over, I'm not sure why so many people are panicing? No result in football is certain but when you think that we went there with our terrible away record, a thread bare squad and won, now take into account our home form.... doesn't look so bad now does it?

I'm sure Mr Pulis doesn't share the arrogance of some of his foremost devotees on here.
Thank fuck for that...

10 man Darlington at home must be pretty close. I could see Darlington putting 7 or 8 past Thun. It would not be a shock if we hit double fugures on Thursday. I had been saying Thun were up to Colchester's standard - in reality they would struggle to give Newcastle Town a game. They were unfit, slow, weak with only the basic footballing skills. I find it hard to believe that their players are actually paid for playing football. Thats pure rubbish and I can't believe you really think that.
