What fucking game were you at? They knocked it about quite well Utter bell end you are youth Not quite sure why the need for that mate?.....In all honesty i was there also and i thought they were very week in most areas.....Given the team we selected i thought we won at a canter and should brush them aside on Thursday?...its not arrogance its just my thoughts.... we;ll see eh Thank you. For a moment I thought I was going mad (not that it would make much difference) ;D My only worry is we suffer an early sending off that gives them a penalty. Even so, we should still progress.

How are they going to get in our penalty area? The worst team we have EVER played in our entire history. Surely they'll just be too busy picking the ball out of their net all game.

The manager can expect a warm reception. Anyone know how ticket sales are going?

Looking at their record and the general record of Swiss teams in Europe, you can only conclude that they are a great deal better than they showed on Thursday night. If they score early then its very much game on.

Mate i think you are going mad You cannot write them off when we have such a slight lead, you cant judge them on one game They may well have been the worst team youve ever seen last week bu it doesnt mean they will be this week

You must be confident though. It was their lack of physical attributes that amazed me.

march - you seem to inhabit a strange world of extremes when anyone mentions the "Thun" word.
I appreciate you are taking some theatrical licence to make your point but just as no one is suggesting Thun are Real Madrid in disguise I don't see how you think we are about to move from a 1-0 away win to record victory territory in the return ?

Course there was need for it. He is a bell end, as from his ridiculous posts regarding FC Thun
They've had far more European experience than us, beat a decent Italian team last time out & even beat Young boys as we can see here...
We should win quite comfortably yes, but it doesn't mean the tie is over. & being arrogant about it is just plain silly as they are capable of putting a goal past us

In all seriousness, we should win without too much mither really. You have no RIGHT to expect Stoke to win What about 9 man Millwall who managed to slay the mighty Potters that time?

since when did we, Stoke City, have the right to become cocky and complacent about any game of football?
Leave it to the Soccer AM generation. Utmost respect to Thun, a town smaller than Leek in population. They weren't that good last week, but were we any better, really? 1-0 and that was after a blatant Walters push.
Far from over this tie.

Far from over this tie. And they are about as good as Leek Town. Come on Bunny, they were utterly dreadful. Weak, slow, small, and incapable of passing the ball more than 5 yards. Seriously, just for a second, even Vale would give them a run for their money and yes we could lose to Vale.

march, we were no better last Thursday or yesterday. Physically, we are superior in every single respect. Thun are not going to put that right without 11 new players. It was men against boys. A dodgy ref with us down to 10 men early on and them equalising from the resultant penalty might make it more difficult, but if we can't eliminate Thun, then we don't deserve to be in Europe.

Our hotel last Thursday was 100 yards from the Young Boys Wankdorf stadium.....very impressive and we actually walked unchallenged in through a gate and onto the pitch; even when we were spotted the bloke just had a chat and then went about his business!!!....If we draw them in group stages it is well worth a visit and a 10 minute taxi ride from Berne city centre We did the same - on the way back to Geneva we stopped in Bern and also went into the stadium for about 1 hour having a good look round. It was very impressive and as they play Braga at home in the 2nd leg, I reckon they may get through as its currently 0-0. I even walked onto the pitch and smashed the ball into the roof of the net. Swiss people are very laid back!

It is still a tricky position as this tie stands. Our first goal on Thursday wont actually change anything. They will still need 2 to go thru. We should win, I think we will but to say we could get double figures is both naive and unrealistic. We generally dont hammer anyone ( Bolton apart ;D)
