Parksy, I just saw the stats at adhe net. 2 shots off goal and 0 shots on goal. Furthermore, the two attempts came from outside of the penalty box. Bust Jones was inside of it.

I would agree this game will not suit Tuncay and I'd put Fuller on in his place, I'd have Delap on for Wilson and Pennent for Walters.
But I know nowt.

FIRST HALF SUMMARY.
Bright start by Stoke albeit very brief!
Soft Sunderland goal with their first attack, poor defending as usual.
Think it was in fact a penalty Walters dragged guy back by his arm.
Great penalty save from Begovic .
Jones and Tuncay no service at all.
Walters ineffective , Etherington anonymous.
Sunderland outplaying us in midfield.
Sunderland very nervous and a Stoke goal would definately get their fans on their backs.
Shawcross having a good game so far, best Stoke player of that half imho.
Reminiscent of our first half performance against Newcastle. So hopefully 2nd half we can turn it around.
Get Pennant on for Walters asap and bring Ric on for Jones . Come on Stoke !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we were fuming at the first half against castle and we managed go in half time just 1-0 down and managed to win so lets hope we get a repeat its possible
