We lost by 1 goal (with both of there goals being lucky) that has nothing to do with tactics. If we started with Tuncay and Fuller up front, with Wilko at right back, they would still have scored there 2 lucky goals! We will concede lucky goals all season. We will score a few too. Your reasoning doesn't make up for the fact that our tactic (only one), passing, creativity and offensive play is the shittest in the league.

Your Top Man whitehead created there first how was that lucky with a wreckless stupid challenge on the edge of our box..you know whats it called, its called 'Headless chicken Syndrome' brains not included as in that situation you stand and let him beat you ie crowd him out not dive in like an 8 yr old and give the ref an EASY decision which = Goal!!!

Yep, it was a poor tackle by Whitehead. Can't really defend him on that one

I only go to 2 games a season as i don't live in the UK. But i watch every game, either down the pub or by streaming it, so i know how the team and individuals perform.

Jarhead-- slagging whitehead off, then next week will be praising him like last season thats trully pathetic.
I went on saturday and it was pathetic. If KJ had stayed on then woudve been different outcome but he didnt. Delap should not play away from home, faye should be on the bench with huth CB and wilko RB. Sidibe shouldnt be on pitch end of.We need a quality midfield signing and a pacy right winger before deadline day. Pulis knows this and will sort it as he has before!

mmmmmmmmmmh is that you being critical of a TP masterstroke signing!!! Jones is TP's masterstroke signing, he got injured in a tackle. It happens! What did your bum boy Tuncay do when he came on? I saw him shoot 20 yards over...

Only Fuller, Etherington and Shawcross are good enough really. The rest can go for me.

Pulis is easily the best manager at stoke since waddington - you were'nt one of those critising pulis in his first spell at the club were you? - look what we got after that

well done to pulis but he can not take us any further "He can not save us from relegation..." "He can not get us promoted, he's taken us as far as he can go..." "He can not keep us up, he's taken us as far as he can go..." "He can not keep us up for a second season, he's taken us as far as he can go..." See a pattern forming?

First season - 12th (despite a wide spread belief we would be embarassed and relegated with less points than Derby ) Second season - 11th (I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure other than Blackburn the first team in recent years to improve on their first season's points tally once everyone's got used to your style of play)
I slagged off the guy as much as anyone in his first spell here, but the FACTS since he came back speak for themselves.
Pulis has his methods, they've been shown to work, he doesn't need naive football fans telling him how to do his job. Coates knows that, hence why he brought him back despite all the opposition to it. All your whinging will achieve nothing bar pissing people off.
I'd happily wager he keeps his job even if we went down (which we won't). So please, for the love of God, stop moaning!!!!

Let's make no bones about it, we were fucking wank bar the first ten minutes on Saturday. We allowed Wolves as much room as I've ever seen us before. We lacked ideas, we lacked skill and, unfortunately, Pulis chose the completely wrong players to fit the formation. We all know the Huth cannot play at right back. We all know that Wilko is the best full back we have so why the fucking hell is he on the bench? We all know the Higgy is piss poor at LB as he lacks any kind of pace. I'm not sure Danny Collins would've been much better but it would've been difficult to have done worse. It's not Higgy's fault he got picked and I've no doubt that he gave us all he could. Unfortunately, it was way below the standard of what a Premier League left back should be at. Shawcross and Faye did alright to be fair but I'd still put Huth with Shawcross against Spurs because I reckon Defoe could run Abdy ragged. We all saw again what we never wanted to see. Rory Delap on the right hand side. For fuck's sake, he's just not a right midfielder. Just get someone in who can play on the right hand side. Please. It makes Delap look a far worse player than he is. Whelan and Whitehead seemed to leave Wolves players in about 46 acres of space every time they broke. Just where were we? Why did Whelan play if he wasn't fit? Etherington was hardly on the ball due to the fact that we couldn't pass fucking wind. When he did get on the ball, he didn't seem to be making the right decisions. Another player we'd thought we'd seen the back of unless we were desperate then came on and showed exactly why he shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up. I don't mind Mama as he has done well in the past but there's no way he's good enough for a start any more. He was just awful. I don't want Pulis out, not by a long stretch. What I do want him to is to stop fucking weakening the side just to fit everybody in. He's a guy that apparrently prides himself on teamwork and organisation. Playing the players he did where he did made us look totally dis-organised and, quite frankly, like relegation material. I like the bloke, I just wish he'd stop making retarded decisions and being so damn stubborn. For Spurs I'd play: Sorro Wilko Huth Shawcross Higgy (if there's no sign of a new LB. Which I hope to God there is) Lawrence (if fit and there's nobody else) Delap (if there's no CM signed (not Kovac, PLEASE!) Whitehead Etherington Fuller Tuncay Our midfield is so short on quality that it's scary. Spot on, pretty much sums up how I feel

Been away for a week, didn't see the Wolves game but how can kevkj say we ain't moving on when in the last 4 seasons under Pulis we have finished: 2006/07 - 8th in the Championship 2007/08 - 2nd in the Championship 2008/09 - 12th in the Premier League 2009/10 - 11th in the Premier League.

How people can spout reactional shit like this after just ONE competitive game this season is beyond me! Can people just keep a little perspective here! Blackpool won 4-0, I suppose Ollie will be taking over from Fergie at Man Utd next season then
