funny you should say this, Finally after 8 years I fitted my pair of Boothen Seats to some wood I hammerited and painted the metal, and varnished the seats shortly after buying them, think they were £50 off ebay from a bloke in leek who had loads of them ..... and before anyone says, yes the numbering is the wrong way round

The wood came off my roof last week, it was the base for an old canopy that was fucked, so I took it off when i was laying a new flat roof. Its been on the roof 20-25 years, so yes it could do with a lick of paint, TBH though I was more concerned about actually using my seats after they had been here 8 years... but yes when I get round to it, I will be repainting the wood, and will probably get the seats and backs profesionally re-varnished ... and a bench cover from Wilkinsons, so they last

I'm going to be brutally honest here Dave, I don't think furniture restoration is your forté. Your's have a more cobbled together feeling to them, I like it.

I´ve got about ten which need renovating. I could do with keeping half of them but might sell the others or do a deal with someone who´ll renovate them.
Dave needn´t apply!

And me. But I can't pick them up until next year. I will pay beforehand if they are reasonably priced. I will restore them better than Dave ( couldn't be hard).
I want a few here in Oz.

That would be beacuse mine ARE NOT RESTORED, the only thing that has been done to them since they left the vic, is some clear weather proof varnish, some black hammerite on the metal, some grease on the tilt mechanism, and attached to some wood

You could have at least put them on some nice matching wood! What method did you use to put it onto the wood by the way?
