I've got some in my garden, number 20 and 21, they don't look as polished as that though, they don't look polished at all.

You could have at least put them on some nice matching wood! What method did you use to put it onto the wood by the way? Screws, what else would any sane person use ?

I'm pissing myself at Dave's effort there. ;D very little effort was involved ;D The beauty of mine is that they haven't been molested by some over enthusiastic wood restorer trying to justify 270 notes, mine retain the pattina of 30 odd years use in the Boothen Stand, and don't look like "new wood"

I will restore them better than Dave ( couldn't be hard). I want a few here in Oz. K4 ??? That would be beacuse mine ARE NOT RESTORED, the only thing that has been done to them since they left the vic, is some clear weather proof varnish, some black hammerite on the metal, some grease on the tilt mechanism, and attached to some wood You varnished them. You hammerited the metal. You greased the mechanism. Attached said wood. Yes, that ISN'T restoring, it's just fucking lazy. You are amazing, Dave. I'm still jealous, though. Of the chairs, not you. K4

I´ve got about ten which need renovating. I could do with keeping half of them but might sell the others or do a deal with someone who´ll renovate them. Dave needn´t apply! Found the thread but Dave took his picture off I got a set off louie the courier and these are still up for grabs, i never got round to doing them up I can take to Stafford, if it helps??? Supersmashinggreat, has a pair too i understand TEST
