Playing Devils advocate here but
If we got relegated we'd get to tear up the division beating old foes like
Forest Derby Cardiff Leicester Coventry Burnley Preston
What do you reckon?

Its got to happen again one day, just hopefully not in the near future. Also, it doesn't mean we'll "tear up" anyone, in fact it'll probably be the opposite. Tonnes of teams that leave the premiership end up losing more than they win and suffer mid-table or lower finishes!

wouldn't mind it so long as we didn't lose too many players

Don't talk soft, it would be a fucking disaster. The premier league with all it's faults is the only place to be.

Would we tear it up though? We'd likely lose a chunk of our players. I'd rather go to White Hart Lane than the Keepmoat every season.

I think we would tear it up.
We'd probably lose Shaw X, Huth, Sorro, Bego, Tuncay. Kitson, Ethers and Beattie, leaving us with something like
Carlo
Wilko Higgy Faye Dicko
Lawro Whelan Delap Tonge
Fuller Sidibe
PLus we'd have a shit load of cash an be able to blow our rivals out of the water, I reckon we could get 100 points

Dicko's on his way out too. I think Whelan would be off. Delap, Fuller, Faye, Higgy and Nash will all be well into their 30s.

It would be horrendous. The Championship is an extremely strong division. I'm sure Southampton thought they had a good chance of tearing it up. They are now languishing in League One.

Just thought it might be fun to see some old faces beating Cardiff 5 Nil would be fun, rather than a gritty 1 nil loss to Chelsea at home

How about Derby the season before? I don't think we'd beat Cardiff 5-0 - it'd be the same tough, tense match it often is.

I'm soory but it is not worth thinking of, we might just rip it up like Boro, Sheff Wedneday, Sheff Utd, Leeds, Charlton, Norwich, Bradford, Crystal Palace, Oldham, Swindon?, Coventry, Ipswich, Leicester, Forest, Reading, Watford, Derby.
NEED I GO ON?????
These have spent time in the Premier League sun you don't always bounce back!!!

Middlesboro changed the manager which was a bit dim, bleeding Blackpool got promoted.... Anyway just putting it out there. For the record I think we would bounce straight back up and would probably be stronger for it. Make some people realisow good it is to be in the Prem. I've no doubt therel be people moaning each time we don't beat a team outside of the top 8 at the brit this season.
Clowns.....
