Very sad news.
Trev coached my son a couple of years back. He was a bloody good bloke.
He'll be a big loss to the Academy.

Never got to meet trevor but work closely with his wife Sharon, Trevor had been really brave through his fight and although i didnt know him everyone who new him said what a true gent he was. The family are Stoke through and through and i hope all will help them through this difficult time.
Rest in Peace Trevor
My deepest sympathy and best wishes go out to your family

This is desperately sad news.
His two beautiful daughters were in the same school classes as my own two youngest children and were a credit to their dad.

Here's a picture of Trevor during his Newcastle Town playing days in the early 90's. If you don't know him, he's fourth from the right, back row. John Ritchie's son, Dave, is also in this team group, middle row, far right.

Trevor was indeed a true gentleman who I had the pleasure of knowing for most of my life from infant/junior school right through to watching the youth team games with him upto a few Saturdays ago.
It was an honour to play football with him for years and then rewarding to watch him coaching and pushing my son on in his fledgling football career.
Trevor will be a miss for many people around Stoke City and Penkhull in particular and all those who knew him in general.

I grew up in penkhull and often played footie in Penkhull park with Trevor and his brother Colin, they were both better than me at footie, but they never rubbed it in. I am very sad to hear about Trevs passing. My sincere condolences go to Colin and the rest of his family. Trevor was a great bloke and i never forgot him. R.I.P

I played for Trev for Chessie Colts when I was about 10 and he taught me how to head a ball properly! He was a great coach and is one of the reasons I love footy so much.
RIP Big Trev
