Would anyone be surprised? Or even more bizarrely Sidibe alongside Super Dave?
Personally I think he should be starting every game. OK he missed from a yard out (personally thought Steinsson was close to giving a way a penno there), but the finish he produced for the goal was outstanding, as was the Bolton first game and the one in the Cup v Citeh.
He's got 3 league goals from 9 starts and 8 sub appearances and 2 from 4 games in the cup. (He has not played a full 90 minutes in a single league game, interestingly).
Can he get us 10-12 goals a season with 30 odd starts? Hell, yeah. We just need a Fuller with goals to play with him ;D

It seems that Kitson was dropped for an unfit Beattie earlier in the season so it wouldn't surprise me to see him dropped again. I'd like to see him played until the end of the season.

The Ginger One seems to have got his head right again so lets hope Mr Pulis or Reidy dont fk it up again by constantly dropping or substituting him. Dont hold your breath though.

OK he missed from a yard out (personally thought Steinsson was close to giving a way a penno there) I think Kits was actually offside with that one, although if we are going to be analysing our strikers in that particular chance then I don't think Dave is the one to blame for us not scoring there!

I think Dave and Ric are our 1st choice pairing when fit and that Mama is nxt on the list.

It depends on whether the coin the manager tosses comes up heads or tails. I think thats how he decides on the front partnership if Rik isnt fit.

if mama doesnt leave in the next transfer window ill be gutted... if we are to move forward then players like mama need to leave to make way for better you can actually find the net.... dave SHOULD be starting every game NOT getting loaned out when hes finding the net like earlier in the season. I really hope Pulis gives him a fair amount of pitch time between now and the end of the season and again at the start so he can get into a decent rythym not playing him every now and again

OK he missed from a yard out... He was offside and the linesman flagged for it as soon as he went for the rebound off the post.

It is all irrelevant as Tuncay should have buried the first chance anyway, rather than mis-hit it onto the post.

when Pulis says after the Wolves game that he thought Mama was fantastic, what do you think?that claim confirms to me how stupid and arrogant he is,yes he probebly said that because a big cheer went up when he had to go off or was it because when Wolves fans sang :how do you watch this every week:there was no response from our fans.....beware the third season syndrome..........

We just need a Fuller with goals to play with him ;D You try and persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to join us then ;D HOPEFULLY, we're after a forward to partner Ric - and that'll mean this Kitson honeymoon won't last for much longer. He's clearly a decent player but I think our forward line is due a shake up and a big signing who's another level up on Kitson. Don't ask me who that forward is though, there are so many teams fishing in the same pond that a risk from abroad may be the only option - i'd love Rodallega but I think if he were to move he'd join a big club, and also it'd be unrealistic to think that Pulis would partner him and Fuller together.

Put Dave on to start the rest on the games and BT or Ric beside him. Put Tancy behind them in mid field and watch how these guys play foootball. If the gaffer does to many more silly things then the fans will ask for his head next season, even though he has done wonders with what he has had to work with.

What do you mean "if"? The minute that Sidibe is able to stand without assistance Tone will have him straight back in the side.
It won't matter if Mama misses easy chances either. He will have been "fantastic" regardless.

We do need two strikers at least so Ronaldo and Villa should do it ;D - I think the hoof it to Sidibe approach (which has served us very well) should be on its way out next season. He might stay as a last 10 minutes sub, but I think we will add 5 players in summer, and it's critical that this shopping list includes a RM, CM and FB that can carry the ball out of defence and link to the forwards' feet (and also get behind the ball the minute we lose it) Don't get me wrong, I'll be fine if we have another season of mainly long ball attrition if it means we survive. I just think the search for a new Mama/dependence on old Mama might be less productive than playing a bit more footie. Personally I'd try Tuncay and Kitson v Chelsea with Fuller coming on last 30, especially if his ankle or whatever is still dodgy. Hopefully Ethers will be in and we'll drop Whelan for a rest, he looks a bit jaded, whereas Lawrence actually needs games.

What I don't get is Pulis says that Tuncay and Fuller are too similar yet he will play Kitson and Sidibe together (the most similar strikers we have).

Why is Kitson knackered after 30 mins in every match. He needs to sort out his fitness in the summer if he is to stay.

In fact, in his last three appearances at home, he's been substituted around the 83 minute mark. Do you really think that a bloke out on his arse after half and hour would last that long with Tony Pulis running the team?

Dave, your love for Kits is nearly as strong as mine for Mama. ;D Honestly, Kitson looks dead on his feet to me after 30 mins. He looks great up to that point, but again on Saturday contributes little afterwards. Did he take pre-season seriously if he thought he was going to be shipped out on loan to the Championship? It's a serious question, because I know how I would have felt in his shoes. This summer is his last chance in my opinion. If he gets it wrong, his career at the top will be over. If he gets it right, England play with a targetman and he is young enough to make his mark. It will save us a lot of money if we can get him playing at his best for 90 mins in every game.

Kitson is shit, and one goal isn't going to change that. I'd have anyone on just to make sur ehe doesn't set foot on the pitch next game. So, step up Sidibe

march, how about the exquisite ball he played Whitehead in with (second half) or being fit enough to be the player who got on the rebound off the post twice (once in second half).
If only Mama were fit enough to get from his 'Mama role' position into the 6 yard box once in a blue moon, eh?

Honestly, Kitson looks dead on his feet to me after 30 mins. To you yes. To Tony Pulis no. That's why he's usually kept on the pitch for the majority of the match, which, believe it or not, is more of the match that Mama has been able to manage recently, despite his amazing levels of fitness.
