What's all the fuss about? Along with Scholes Out, that should be sung throughout the Swansea game. Might get them thinking.

What the fuck does this mean? He says there are no problems at the club but.... "I could give you a hundred contributing factors that happen at this club that don’t at others but I take responsibility." He has a fucking responsibility to list some of them. He's basically saying something at the club is rotten, surely? I wish he would, and I can imagine whom he refers to. Was there more to Hughes's " Who else would do it? " comment or was he just a tight permed tit?

The owners have clearly “learned” from what happened after Hughes, when we weren’t ready, managers lined up to publicly turn us down and we ended up with z-list Lambert. So this is how they think they deal with that. Begs the question... what do they do if their targets all turn us down? 😐 Some desperate bastard will want it. He's going to need a huge ego to think he can turn us around. A deluded fuckwit. So, let's see.. Pardew McClaren. Pearson. Coleman Keane. Uurrrgh!

They're making the club look like complete idiots, what is any prospective manager going to think? Exactly Paul. At a time when the money is leaving us, we need to be more professional than ever to show how serious we are at getting back. We're looser than a wizards sleeve and we really are heading back to our natural level under these owners. We're two bob in every way, on and off the pitch. In fairness, Bayern has been saying that for years. You are both right, though. We've fucked it up more and quicker than virtually anyone, haven't we?

It seems we are as happy to surrender our Championship status as we were to surrender our Premier League status. Absolutely fucking nuts Wankers. Fucking incompetence is rife.

This board would have gone ballistic, though. Mind you we have sniffed at Moyes, Hughton, Dyche and Howe on here at various times. Brendan Rodgers has been pilloried on here for many years, mainly because he had the audacity to do well in Scotland. Brilliant manager. A bit strange, but a cracking manager.

So ‘he wanted to talk to us’ then came and said nah I’ll wait for a a Prem team. Both complete bullshit stories Like I've said before, there is something in our contracts that makes certain managers turn their nose up at the job, it's nothing to do with the size or position of the club. If this is true then hughton joins the long list of managers we have failed to attract and not a single one of them is an elite manager. What next, a man desperate for a job they'll sign up to any conditions or a manager who sees stoke as the next rung on their ladder so will do likewise? As others have said, there is something radically wrong with this club. It goes beyond management.

Ironically, Paul Lambert is probably better than Rowett and Jones combined. Just not good enough for the Premier League. We should have given him a go IMO. This board would have gone ballistic, though. Mind you we have sniffed at Moyes, Hughton, Dyche and Howe on here at various times.

If Hughton really has said no, it's Moyes or bust. Jesus Christ. Moyes is ideal. Adaptable formation wise, good record, gets players fitter. Whether he's mad enough to come here, I don't know.

So, who is the Championship equivalent of Paul Lambert? Looks like we'll be there in no time. Ironically, Paul Lambert is probably better than Rowett and Jones combined. Just not good enough for the Premier League.

I have missed the details, too. Does it resemble the free trade agreement that Tusk supposedly offered us and May rejected(without asking us or parliament), or is it May's WA rejigged, that many on here predicted? Free trade agreement is the flakey destination, the only difference to Maybot is around the backstop fudge which appears to be a complete non starter with Ireland and the EU. I don't think it's a serious proposal. It designed to be part of the big them and us set piece election that Johnson and Cummings crave. He's presenting it to Parliament at 11:30. Could be interesting. I know most Brexiteers hate him but will be worth listening to Grieve to see where the undoubted gaping holes are. I can't do with him because he was against any deal. I was interested to see Gillian Keegan, who voted Remain but also voted for the WA, seeming very happy with developments. I still think it is part of the con, but for different reasons!

I think he has his eyes on the prize....Singapore by the Sea. I have missed the details, too. "Tom Ince is the most subbed player, being taken off 15 times out of his 23 starts under Jones" Shouldn't have started in the first place, then he wouldn't have needed to take him off!!! Watch him thrive under somebody who has a clue. If we get one of those, that is! 😁

Really? There’s a surprise. Next you’ll be telling me the LibDems, SNP and the other members of the Rabble Alliance also don’t like it. I wonder what deal they would be happy with? If Johnson secured a free trade deal would enough Remainers back it? Not that they would ever be asked the question...

Absolutely mate. When he says he's breaking his back to get a deal, he's lying....again. For different reasons, though. I don't think we will have no deal, I think he's going to offer a jazzed up May WA. The free trade deal Tusk offered seems a distant memory.

But how much can we spend in the next window? A decent manager will attract better players for less money you’d have thought. Think we need to exploit the foreign market again in January. Another reason for wanting Hughton or Moyes, for me. I trust them in the transfer market. How long has it been since we bought players to suit our style of play?

If Moyes and hughton watched last nights game then I’m surprised either would still be interested. But the big pull for them would be the fact we have wealthy owners who have consistently backed their manager. But how much can we spend in the next window?

I’d rather Moyes than hughton but I’d be happy with either. Hughton doesn’t seem to stick around for very long at any club he’s been at, which is a bit worrying given our manager turn over the last few seasons. Doesn't stick around ? He was poached by a premier league club after just missing out on promotion with Birmingham. All his other jobs he's been sacked. And shafted by Newcastle.

I would be happy with Hughton or Moyes to be honest. We need someone who can gain the players respect, instantly, and I think both would.

Meanwhile today at Edinburgh university there's a 'Resisting Whiteness' conference going on. This country continues to get more fubared by the minute. Couldn't resist looking this one up The University of Edinburgh has been criticised for hosting an “anti-racism” event in which white people were due to be banned from asking questions. The conference has been organised by the Resisting Whiteness group which opposes racism and describes itself as a QTPOC (queer and trans people of colour) organisation. There will be two “safe spaces” at the event one of which white people will be barred from entering. The safe places are meant for those who feel “overwhelmed/overstimulated or uncomfortable”. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/09/27/anti-racism-event-hosted-edinburgh-university-bans-white-people/Fuck me steady.

Isn't a good start the order of the day? Pardew is a colossal prick and I don't really want him but we could do a lot worse. Hughton is the stand out candidate. Even the good start might be beyond him now though. He came into a West Brom in a very similar situation to us (only one league higher) and was an unmitigated disaster. Another negative is he apparently favours attacking full backs that Jones neglected to buy. He'd probably like Vokes and Hogan as a front 2, though.
